Benjamin and all of the administration were super helpful and caring, and with Easter Island being very expensive, they do have the cheapest prices for all the tours and things to do which was a huge plus. The rooms were clean and there were enough bathrooms/showers, and everyone was given their own set of utencils etc so you always knew you wouldn't have to wash someone elses things to be able to cook food. The athmosphere was lovely and the public spaces were comfortable as well. As a solo traveller this was a 10/10 place in every aspect - will definitely want to book my next trip to Rapa Nui already!

Hanga Roa city centre is a 5-minute drive away. Firstly, Rosario and Christophe are amazing hosts. They treated us like old friends and made sure our stay was comfortable. The property is ideally located in an area that is close to the airport and the city centre. The rooms are immaculate and have all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The fridge was well stocked with cold water, juice, jams and butter and there was a special delivery of bread every morning for breakfast. Additionally, Christophe is a treasure trove of knowledge which was evident as he took us around the island. Internet service was great and the charm of the location was enhanced with a great view of the ocean.

The rooms include a patio. Location was a very good, not far from the town centre. landlord and the landlady was very friendly, pick me up on my arrive and drop me to the airport where I’m leaving. Also give a free city tour, helped take me to the travel agency to sort out the payment. Room is super clean and equipped all the stuff you needed.

The hosts Francisco and Sonia were very welcoming and helpful, they did their very best to make my stay very comfortable, also to advise and make connections for guided tours (you need to have a guide and a Park Permit to go to the archeological sites). The hostal is very centrally located in the town area, but is very quiet within its own substantial garden. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are great. Highly recommended !

A recently renovated guest house located in Hanga Roa, Hostal Makohe Rapa Nui features a garden. This guest house provides free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. The accommodation features a shared kitchen, full-day security and luggage storage for guests. Beautiful little Hostal in a street as quiet as it gets with all the stray dogs around Hanga Roa. I slept well in a very comfy bed. It offers way more than the usual Hostal which warants the price (it's not cheap on Rapa Nui): perfect kitchen, nice seating areas, fast WIFI, great rooms and bathrooms including mosqito nets in front of the windows, umbrellas, flashlights,... and transfers not only to the airport but other places too. Which brings me to the best part of it: Pamela and Carlos, the owners. The most welcoming people I have ever met, always available, caring, even spoiling us! Taking us places no tourist usually goes to, leaving fruits and bread for us in the kitchen, helping with everything you can possibly think of. I would have loved to stay longer!
