We really enjoyed the traditional tea ceremony where a tea expert prepared 3 types of locally grown tea. It was such a calming and peaceful experience, set next to the tranquil tea farm, and made for a great start to the day. The breakfast was excellent, super delicious and nutritious. I loved waking up to the beautiful tea farm just outside the window. We felt well taken care of by the tea farm owner.

Our host has to be one of the kindest, friendliest, warmest people I've ever met in my life. What I thought was going to be a quick cup of tea turned into a 2 hour ritual, sampling wonderful teas from his estate, alongside other guests. The room was mega comfy and the views from the outdoor dining area were simply breathtaking. Seriously some of my favorite breakfasts in my entire life. 10/10 would recommend, come again, etc etc

Room is big and comfortable and has a good view of the mountain. We could see sunset and sunrise on the top of the building. The magnificent view of sunset was such an experience that we will remember for a long time. The owner is very friendly as well. We pre-booked the hotpot dinner and it was delicious.

Zhongshan Hostel was such a great place to stay. The owner is really lovely and very helpful giving directions how to get to Alishan for the morning sunrise. The rooms were great, very simple and clean. There is a hot water machine and tea near the front door which was nice in the morning when it was cold. I wish I had stayed longer and that I had more time to spend in the town there are lots of lovely shops and a few places to eat. The tea shop across from the hostel is the best, the woman who works there is so kind, taught us so much and we were able to buy some beautiful pottery she hand made and some tea from the region from her. Definitly a good place to stop if you stay here.

This place is amazing! The owners are lovely and very helpful. They welcome you with a true tea ceremony of their own tea (which you can buy right there), they often drive you to places, and can recommend itineraries. Two people speak English, so communication isn't a problem. I also liked the three cats and the rescued three-legged dog. The room was great too, very spacious and clean with basic hygienic products. There's a good vibe to this homestay and they really do make you feel at home. Besides, the tea farm is on site, you sit shoulder to shoulder to it having breakfast. You can directly start hiking the trails from the house as you reach the start of mist trail in 20 minutes. From the shops and bus stop in town it's 15 minutes walking uphill (not too steep). You don't have to go anywhere for the sunset, at the house you have a great view over the tea farm and the mountains. The whole area is just beautiful and not as touristy as other places. I totally recommend!

The breakfast was very nice with fruits (dragon fruit, physalis), cherry tomatoes, dry fruits, nice sweet potato chips and a delicious 'onion pan cake' which was a discovery (omelet & vegetables inside). Very beautiful panorama on the mountains and the tea plantations from our room 201 with balcony. Splendid flowers in the hotel's little garden (Cymbidium Orchids,...). The owners of the Cuiti B&B are very friendly.
