MODERN House is situated in Sighetu Marmaţiei, 22 km from The Wooden Church of Deseşti, 23 km from Bârsana Monastery, as well as 26 km from The Wooden Church of Budeşti.

Firstly the hosts were delightful , very welcoming and helpful. The newly built accommodation was sparkling clean with 5 private rooms , and a shared area with tables and chairs and a sofa . Very close to the heart of town with restaurants and supermarkets a short walk away . A sunny courtyard at the entrance was also much appreciated. We were guests for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Modern House , and the welcoming hosts .

he accommodation was excellent, beautifully and stylishly furnished. It has a beautiful yard with seating. It is actually located about a kilometer from the center, as it was also stated in the information. You can get there in about 15 minutes by leisurely walking. Both the owner and the lady at the reception were very pleasant.

Everything was amazing! This host is the most generous, warm and friendly person who absolutely makes the place a charm! He gave us great tips for the surrounds as well as some advice, and nothing was too much trouble. Location is lovely, right on a park. The room and entire pension was spotless, warm and very comfortable. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, with eggs, cheeses, vegetables and meats, some house made. Also fresh apple juice from the house and fabulous coffee. We cannot fault this place and highly recommend it!!! Do yourself a favour and stay here!
