We loved this place and was our first homestay! The family is just amazing that runs it and so kind and warm. The rooms are simple but very clean and comfortable. The open spaces on the property are fabulous and feels like a home away from home:) I love the couple that runs it as they care about the people that stay there and everyone appears to love it. We stayed four days and was hard to leave. The Tuk tours are fabulous so don’t miss them. A true gem of a place and we enjoyed the walk into town and prefer being a little bit out. The food is good too! Best stay on our five week trip! 🇨🇦

We loved staying at the Family Bat Cave Homestay! Escaro is a wonderful host, he and his family are very welcoming. His wife made delicious food and Esaro arranged a fantastic day and evening tour for us. We were lucky enough to be there on the last day of the New Year celebration in which we joined the community celebration. The accomodations are rustic and just what we were looking for. Highly recommend a stay here is you are looking for a unique Cambodia experience. Esaro’s partner, whose name I can’t remember now, brought us to so many interesting places and shared a lot of information with us. He was also ready with cold water all day for us. Nice family homestay in a quiet and green area. The hosts are absolutely lovely !! They can arrange bus commute for you to your next destination which is very convenient. They allowed us to take an extra shower before taking our sleeping bus the night after we stayed at their place. But the best part was booking a day trip with Sarom (host) to visit Battambang and its countryside, learn about the Khmer culture and the genocide, taste some local specialties. Unforgettable moments of discovery !!

Location is amazing, in the countryside with the view on the rice field. The bamboo rooms are so atypical and although there are plenty of space, we don't get disturbed by insects or other animals. As it is far from the city it is worth having food at the restaurant (the food is definitely awesome) and take a tour with Mr. driver. Unless you have your own plan already, like cycling around, I would recommend to stay there and use all services provided. It's out of the city, which I loved, but to consider based on your priorities. Lastly, the kindness of the people there was something 👌🏼

Cute Mother's House apartment that had a good sized bed, couch, kitchen sink, good sized fridge and a cook top complete with dishes and cooking utensils! Hot water on demand in the good sized bathroom. The room is set behind Nary Restaurant and Cooking Classes, and the owners sister is in the other front house selling morning breakfasts to locals. Very lovely family. Owner, who has some English, can book day tour by tuk tuk and a bus ticket for when you want to leave Battambang. Ask her to have her tuk tuk driver pick you up at the bus depot when you arrive.

The 4th floor rooftop, and the rooms there. Quiet, and possible to work if you are one of those travelers with laptop. Helpful staff for finding suitable transport.
