The whole atmosphere felt great. The hotel and the apartment itself felt very fancy. Everything was very clean and the apartment had everything we needed (e.g. an extra room for the luggages, a seperate toilet, key cards, a quite refrigarator). The staff was very friendly, responded very quickly and was able to answer all our questions. The train- and bus-station Takeda is also very close which was very convenient.

Cannot recommend Gion Kyoka enough. Actually, I'd prefer to give a negative review to prevent everyone from booking this lovely ryokan in the most amazing location in Gion Kyoto. Their team went above and beyond to make arrangements for our party at temples like Saiho-ji. Thank you Miyata-san and the rest of your staff for making our stay exceptional. I hope to visit again soon.
