This hotel is authentic, our triple room had flair and was overlooking the yard. The couple taking care of us was very warm and accommodating, especially with the meals, as it was one vegetarian person in the family. We stood 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. The food was every day different and plenty. The price for the meals is different, it depends if it is vegetarian, it contains cheese, or fish or meat. Lake Titicaca is a flight of stairs away an there is a nice beach and clear water to take a dip (water temperature 10-12 degree). There are nice walks on the hills nearby to viewpoints and small ruins.

This was a perfect stay. Oliver, Sebastiana and their children are a lovely family who you instantly feel at home with. The room we had was spacious, private and had a beautiful view of the lake. Hot water and WiFi worked amazingly for the area and the food provided (for an extra cost, but really good value), was very tasty and varied. There are a few walks to do in the area to keep you busy, and Oliver can also take you out on his boat to some of the local islands and to see the trout farm he runs (again, for an extra fee but for what you get, we thought it was really good value for money. You have to remember you have the boat completely to yourselves and there were no other tourists on the floating island we visited, making the experience very authentic). There's a really nice outdoor seating to enjoy the sun and view. Getting there is also very easy with collectivos going regularly from Puno and Juliaca for next to nothing. The host family were very accommodating and made us feel at home. The food was delicious and the views were spectacular. We were also very impressed by Llachon, a peaceful change of pace compared to Juliaca and Puno.

The place was great, and we got a room with a beautiful view and a nice balcony. But the best thing about the stay was probably the host Nicanor. He was very nice and attentive, picked us up at the port, made great food, and took us on a nice tour of Uros.

Alberto is the best host ever!!! I loved the tranquilo place and his cooking! I recommend you to order dinner too! It’s so good! Fresh milk from cows, papas from his garden…my body was so happy to eat organic food and breath clean air! Alberto was so kind to organize my trip ! Can’t thank enough:D!!
