Our stay at Maka Bay Residence was perfect. As other reviews point out, it is an ideal spot in the north of Mahé. It is a very well thought out concept with a perfect execution. The view cannot be any better (don’t book if the noise of the ocean bothers you!). The balcony is wide, protected from the sun and rain with great quality furniture and it is private. The entire apartment is clean, well designed and well equipped. It feels spacious. Everything is of high quality. The support from Nicole and Pooja is efficient and discreet at the same time. They tought of everything, every details. They are friendly and welcoming. The location was great for us. The entire place is safe, including the parking which is a bonus. Honestly, I do not know what I would change. You are bound to enjoy yourself at Maka Bay Residence. We sure did and we would not hesitate to book again. And again!

Everything was great! The property exceeded our expectations! You have just in front of you beautiful and clean Royal Beach! Location is amazing, you will have a beauuuuuutiful view from room to the ocean! Moreover at night you will hear ocean waves! Room is spacious and clean and comfortable and suuuuper cozyyyyy! Near located supermarkets and bars, restaurants!Most imporatant nor far away from Airport! The owner, Holden, amazing guy! He is definetely will become your friend and will help you wilth everythin!!! We loved it our stay at Island Cove! And we already miss it!!!<3

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa, the room was very comfortable and it had great terrace overlooking the ocean and the hills. Our host Daphne was very welcoming and helpful, arranged us pick up from airport, helped with car hire locally and allowed to stay late in the room on the day of departure. The room also had fully equipped kitchen and supermarket is only 5 minutes away. The walk to Beau Vallon beach takes about 10 minutes and it is one of the best beaches on the island.

Food overall was amazing. The fresh fish for dinner is to die for! Brekfast is also really nice. The stuff working there is just amazing, so nice and warm people. They gave us advices everyday about what we should do and what to visit.

The accommodation is highly recommended! We were given a very warm welcome and our host was very nice and flexible concerning our arrival. We were able to leave our luggage at the accommodation in the morning and walked to a small beach nearby - with beach towels from the accommodation. The view is spectacular! Nothing was missing in the accommodation. The kitchen is well equipped and the air conditioning in the bedrooms works perfectly. A 20-minute walk takes you to Carana Beach, which is a dream!
