Big clean room with huge terrace and sea viel, although we didn't book it. Clean and quiet. Good breakfast. Had a nice welcome drink as courtesy of the house in the room. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Could even have a late check-out just to enjoy ourselves a bit longer Rooftop pool. Close to harbour and Restaurants.

Great location on the waterfront, beautiful view of the harbor, great spot to watch all the activity from the balcony - perfect with morning coffee or relaxing in the afternoon with a book. The rooms are very nice, with clean modern furnishings. Comfortable bed and really nice bathroom. This place is small but beautifully and efficiently designed for comfort. Small touches were appreciated - adaptors, tea kettle, bottle of wine and corkscrew, clothespins. They’ve thought of everything! The breakfast buffet was basic, with a small selection of hot dishes on request, and excellent cappuccino! Mariella and Roland were kind and helpful hosts. We enjoyed Marsaxlokk with its many seaside restaurants offering fresh seafood, and the daily market. Overall a very enjoyable stay, and I recommend Shipwrights Lodge without hesitation!

Key highlights: - The apartment was clean, well located and big enough for the 6 of us - The host was super nice and helpful - Marsaxlokk is beautiful - Bus stops are near by, pretty much everywhere. Easy to reach the airport, visit other cities like Valletta, etc. Just bear in mind buses are not perfectly on time (cost: 2 EUR per adult, kids were never charged) - SPAR is a 10 min walk from the apartment - There is another nice shop/bakery called Sea Coast Confectionary (highly recommended) - ST. Peters pool is a 30 min walk. You can use BOLT or UBER (it will take 7 mins or less) - Ballut ta' beach is alright, but would instead recommend Pretty Bay (approx. 12 mins by bus) - Don't buy sweets at the Marsaxlokk market, total scam

Alles war perfekt. Das Personal äußerst herzlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist ruhig und bietet tollen Service. Das Apartment auf dem Dach mit Terrasse und Whirlpool ist sehr komfortabel, sauber, wohnlich und mit schönem Blick über das Treiben im Hafen. Wir sind begeistert und wollen auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. We love it!!! Thanks a lot!!! See you!!!

The ever helpful proprietor, Micheal. He place was perfect. It is on the water. There is a good restaurant in the building. We had breakfast included. Good food! Michael does a wonderful job of making us feel welcomed.

Very spacious apartment located just next to the bus stop and a supermarket. Getting the keys was very easy process.

It is a great Apartment with all you need to stay. The Owner had pepared a lot of staff, like Toast and Coffee, Soap and Lotion, Towals and so on. We like to stay and we will like to come again.
