Located within 12 km of Pico do Carvao and 24 km of Sete Cidades Lagoon, Santa Clara 1828 provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Ponta Delgada. The service was beyond perfect. Miguel was very responsive with our questions and very late check-in.The room was cleaned and refill with water and coffee. The Fridge comes with milk, juice and water. All was very unexpected but highly appreciated.

Vila Emigrante has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Capelas, 6.9 km from Pico do Carvao. The air-conditioned accommodation is 15 km from Sete Cidades Lagoon. Great place with a great host. Ideal for families. There is even a playground with swings for small kids (not visible in pictures during booking). Very good value for the money. The host was very helpful and we felt very welcome. We stayed for 7 nights.

Featuring a rooftop pool and views of city, Casa da Galeria - Azores Art of Hosting is a recently renovated aparthotel set in Ponta Delgada, 12 km from Pico do Carvao. Was supposed to meet my sister here who was flying separately but my flight was cancelled. The staff was extremely nice and helpful during check in (despite reservation being in my name etc) and throughout the entire stay (helped order taxis, make recommendations, prepared a delicious to go breakfast for the early morning flight). Room was nice, everything was very clean, nice amenities(pool, gym), good location. Would definitely return!

Located in São Roque, just 600 metres from São Roque Beach, Home at Azores - Oasis House provides beachfront accommodation with free WiFi. Amazing, modern apartment, the view of the ocean is incredible. Apartment is really bright, and cozy. The host was very carying, making sure we have a good stay.

Apartment Sweet Home is situated in Ponta Delgada, 700 metres from Milicias Beach, 1 km from São Roque Beach, as well as 1 km from Populo Beach. The property was very easy to access from the main road around the island. Parking was available. A car is necessary but, in my opinion, a car is necessary on the island. The property had everything we needed. We were very lucky to have use of a washing machine!

Set in Ponta Delgada, 16 km from Pico do Carvao and 27 km from Fire Lagoon, Helena's House offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. The location is central, the space was large enough for all of us and fairly comfortable. The terrace is cozy. Overall, we had a good time there.

Offering a garden and city view, Villa Esmeralda is located in Ponta Delgada, 12 km from Pico do Carvao and 24 km from Sete Cidades Lagoon. The location was perfect to enjoy both the city but also have a car space (there are 7 spots, one for each unit in the complex) so that you can enjoy the rest of the island too. We stayed in Apartment 3 which was listed as "superior apartment" and it had a full bedroom, huge bathroom, sofa bed and kitchen. The room smelled nice and had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable, the heat worked well, the house seemed very insulated from any outside noise (although the neighborhood was very quiet), and the outdoor areas were exceptional. Very comfortable and would stay again.

Boasting a patio with mountain views, pool with a view and free bikes, Quinta das Camélias - Açores can be found in Ponta Delgada, close to São Roque Beach and 2 km from Milicias Beach. Everything was fantastic. The apartment was beautiful and the owners were so helpful and welcoming.

Featuring a patio with mountain views, pool with a view and a garden, Mosteiros Place can be found in Mosteiros, close to Praia dos Mosteiros and 4.8 km from Lagoa Azul. We had an amazing view from the terrace and we enjoyed the sunset in our first night at the accommodation. This property has a small pool and fitness facilities. The breakfast was very good.
