It looks more like a business type of hotel. There was a small restaurant just next to the hotel, which was useful because Navoi is really not touristic. But it has a main train station connecting Bukhara and Samarkand, and it is a good place from where to go to the caravanserail (20 min drive) and more importantly, Sarmishsay (1h drive). We definitely recommend the petroglyphs and hills of Sarmishsay. People at the hotel helped us book a taxi.

We ate all our meals there and there was something fresh, different and delicious every day. We had good conversations in English with Ruslan, which we really appreciated. He is an excellent guide and I recommend going on at least one trip with him. We went to the desert and lake as well as to the petroglyphs and walked in the villages of the Nurata mountains. It was interesting and relaxed and enjoyable. The location is also good and you can easily walk to the sights of Nurata and the market. Thank you Ruslan and your whole family for having us.

Definitely the best accomodation we've had in Uzbekistan. Spacious clean room with a new fridge and a large TV coupled with beautiful bathroom. Rich breakfast from 7 to 10 am. Staff spoke good english and vere extremely helpful and welcoming - getting a shisha, a tea or a can of beer was no problem and they even helped us get a cheap taxi to the center and offered us a ride to the train station.

TURKISTAN Hotel biedt accommodatie in Kogon. Het pension biedt ook gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. The hotel had a big room and nice bathroom. I liked the patio, where I could even have dinner. The fact, that the owner took me to the train station at 3:20 a.m. to get my train to Khiva was a big plus and a very nice treat!
