Lokakuu juuri sopiva vierailulle, metro ja liikkuminen selkeää. Muutenkin tehty helpoksi turistille kaikki. Midtown todella hyvä sijainniltaan. Bookingin lentokenttätaksilla pääsi vaivattomasti perille ja takaisin kentälle. High line -park ja Central Park parhaat nähtävyydet. Bookingin kautta vuokrasimme pyörät ja kaikki toimi hyvin. Broadway musikaali Aladdin ihan huippu kokemus.

Meitä kaupunkiin vetää rytmit, kaupungin syke, taide, ihmiset ja kulttuuri. Kaupunki tarjoaa palveluita isolla rahalla, pienellä rahalla ja ilmaiseksi myös. Majoittuminen on kalliin puoleista Manhattanilla, mutta myös edullisempaa löytyy.

Me halusimme nähdä oikea New York ja me näimme, emme vain Manhattanin turistikohteita. Kävellen löytää yllätyksiä, vaikka joskus edullista ruokapaikkaa sai hakea. Suruksemme moni levykauppa oli lopettanut.

New York ja erityisesti Manhattan oli aivan upea paikka!
New York ja erityisesti Manhattan oli aivan upea paikka! Paljon nähtävää ja koettavaa. New Yorkissa on helppo liikkua ja myös julkiset kulkevat helposti. Korttimaksaminen oli helppoa, eikä käteistä juurikaan tarvinnut. Sää vaihteli helmikuussa todella paljon, joten näihin aikoihin kannattaa varautua varatakilla ja sateenvarjolla. Ihmiset ovat todella avuliaita ja ystävällisiä.
