The location couldn't be better, it is literally across the street from the airport. Bus stops are very plentiful nearby and the hotel staff is very well versed in showing you exactly which buses you need to get to your destination on the island. They are able to call taxis for you if necessary as well. All around wonderful location and very helpful staff!

Japanese people are generally very hospitable, but the host took it to a next level. She gave me clear instructions how to do my hiking trip and also booked my return ferry for me. She even made some homemade onigiri for me and every other guest doing a hike. There's also breakfast (coffee/tea and toast) in the hostel and the host was there awake at 3 AM to make sure everybody gets going without problems. The forest around the hostel and the facilities themselves are very unique.

Very welcoming, even though there was a language barrier, as they do not speak English, we managed to get the point across via translation apps. They offer yummy breakfast and can prepare nice bento for you if you ask for it for lunch. The location is great, near the airport, however car is optimal for the best experience. The location of the pension is close to all of the main routes and key activities. We were staying in the private bathroom room and were happy with the facilities.
