Fiskado is one of the loveliest places on Kefalonia.
Fiskado is one of the loveliest places on Kefalonia. It has a wonderful mixture of lovely restaurants, shops, beach and bayfront. Honestly it's the perfect place to have your first taste of Kefalonia, I've gone back 5 times since my fist visit in 2016.
Try, Foki beach, Emplysi Beach, Have drinks at the harbour front and watch the sailing yachts and motor yatchs coming in and out, while sipping an Aperol Spritz. Ellies for dinner for a treat def the best Res end of the bay. Irida's, Vasso's, Apagio all great. Theodora Cafe for Aperol Spritz and Cosmopolitans!
There are SO many amazing shops too, I have tried and failed to NOT come back with anything I just had to have....beautiful clothes from Greek designers...don't be too hasty to dismiss! Leather good, china, olives and olive oil of course...oh the OLIVES!

A little piece of heaven , so tranquil & beautiful.
A little piece of heaven , so tranquil & beautiful. Has something for everyone, so many restaurants, beaches to choose from . Gets busy around the harbour when the tourists depart the ferry at midday, I’m always at the beach at this time so not a problem. The ambience in the evening is lovely & interesting watching the yachts & how the rich live . The quality of the food here is very high , the fish super fresh . Lots of lovely beaches to to drive to just outside the are . Will be returning for my 5 the visit next year

Beautiful harbour.
Beautiful harbour. Plenty of restaurants and for us a great base to visit other beaches in a hire car and return to Fiskardo in the evening. Best of both. Nearby, Fiki beach was lovely. Make sure you buy swimming shies as the beaches and bays are stoney. Crystal clear water makes up for it! We stayed at Anthis beach apartments overlooking the small beach. Perfect location , lovely host . Thanks Gina for making our stay so enjoyable.

Fiskardo is a high end buzzing place.
Fiskardo is a high end buzzing place. Yes the tavernas are at the pricey end but the quality is good and the atmosphere is great. We only had one poor meal and should have realised that going to a place that wasn’t busy was a sign it might not be great. The Thai restaurant was a fun find, probably the best meal of the holiday. We chartered a yacht one day which was our big treat and a lovely experience. We also rented a motor boat from Reginas and that was as much fun. We love Fiscardo

One of the few villages in Kefallonia that survived a devastating earthquake, Fiskardo is truly picturesque. It is a tiny cozy fishing village with a plentiful of restaurants and nice shops. there are three walking paths around - including one taking you to a Venetian and modern lighthouse. Highly recommended!

We're not the sort to just lie on the beach all day - but we love a harbour!. Fiskardo is considered by some to be 'upmarket' but it has a lovely chilled vibe and we love just sitting in a bar or restaurant just watching the boats coming and going. Fiskardo is completely car-free so it's peaceful and relaxed with everything right at the water's edge.
A small pretty newly built villa in a quiet location just 10 minutes from Fiskado - finished to a high standard, well equipped with a lovely pool. Wonderful sunsets.
Unfortunately the air-conditioning in the main bedroom did not work for the whole time we were there which was a problem given that Greece was having a heatwave.
My husband and I shared a small twin bedded room which although fine spoilt our experience. Frustratingly the engineers appeared to fix the air-conditioning on the morning that we were leaving.
I loved everything about my stay at Anna Maria’s cozy studio! The location was excellent, the place was very nice, spacious & very clean & comfortable! You can walk to all the shops & restaurants, Emplisi & Fooki beaches plus multiple swimming spots, even some Roman ruins! I couldn’t have asked for a better stay, everything worked really well! Highly recommend this place to everyone considering Fiskardo. Beautiful place, a true paradise and the hostess Anna Maria was great & very accommodating! You won’t regret it!
The location of the hotel was excellent. It was a ten minute walk to the centre of Fiskardo and ten minutes in the opposite direction to Foki Beach. The view from our balcony was beautiful, overlooking the entrance to Fiskardo harbour and the nearby island of Ithaka, with the Greek mainland in the distance. The owner, Antonis, was excellent and extremely helpful.
Swimming at Foki beach, and also from the small area directly below the hotel, was beautiful!
The location and the style/design of this boutique (like) hotel was really good, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly speaking perfectly (!) english.
When we arrived in a blink of an eye they took our suitcases and brought up to our apartement, we returned to the car to bring some of the smaller stuffs (like a pack of water), they offered immediately to help us.
Nowadays it's important that the wifi/internet connection was stable and fast.
Home was bright, clean and the host was amazing. We had fruit and juice waiting for us when we arrived. He also provided laundry detergent, beach towels and more. We felt so welcomed. The pool was great and they even had floats and toys for it. The balconies had amazing views and sunrises. The area was very quiet and peaceful but a short drive away from the main part of town.
very friendly owner :) hotel is clean, superb location as only a few mins walk from Fiskardo. Hotel has a fantastic little beach right at the door that is way better than Foki beach!
Room was very comfortable, beds/mattress are a dream, little kitchen is fully equipped, view from balcony is the best..
Quiet and comfy.
Highly recommend staying here, as opposed to a hotel in the more popular Fiscardo. Dafnoudi hotel had beautiful surrounding, flowers growing throughout the property, and a gorgeous sea view from the balcony. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were quite comfortable. My experience exceeded my expectations!
The view from the house is simply unique and magnificent. Lot of place to take the sun and rest while looking at the sea.
You reach the nearby beach in 2 minutes walk . The owner offered us a bottle of wine and plenty of local products in a basket for the breakfast.
Great: location , pool, room , bed, bathroom
Very clean Lovely big terrace , shutters made the room really dark , no annoying lights , bed comfy , so slept so well
We walked to & from Fiskardo every evening about 15 mins each way not too steep
Excellent host, super clean and new villa. Really good location with a marvellous little beach and beach side restaurant within footsteps of the property. If you are staying in this part of Greece, I don't believe you could do any better!
