Rhodes is a well kept town but is very busy during the day.
Rhodes is a well kept town but is very busy during the day. The archeology and the museums are the main attraction. The bus service is superb and within walking distance of the old town. Everything was wonderful.
Everything was wonderful. However, the problem is using public transport because you don't know the exact departure and return times of the bus. Some workers are very kind, but there are also workers who do not know English and are sometimes rude. Rhodes town exceeded my expectations. I had no idea how beautiful the town would be, the people are very friendly and it is super easy to navigate! There is plenty of choice for food, cheap and expensive. Be aware of the local scams of beer/cocktails. ALWAYS ask to see prices and how much the pints are. The setting is lovely with the walls and many restaurants and places to visit. Great for walking around if you have proper footwear for cobbles. An easy ferry ride to Symi. Buses to visit Lindos are good for a day out. Be aware that there are cats everywhere. Also cruise ships passengers make the streets packed.

I enjoyed everything! Easy to get around, with beauty around each corner. Such an amazing place to go, with nightlife, shopping, history, friendly shopkeepers, family-friendly and kid-friendly places and near the newer metropolis. The staff made us feel like home by giving a warm welcome and aswering all of our questions about Rhodes city. We give a 5 start to the breakfast. Do not forget to try Vaso's omelettes!! Hotel in the centre of Old Rhodes town, it is in the centre to see and do everthing. But it was so quiet on a side street that u had a Comfy sleep, and did not get disturbed. Fridge in room. With water and some mythos. Nice touch. Plus coffee. A great hair dryer that was handy. The hotel is small. Quirky. Clean tidy. And you are made to feel very welcome. We will come back.

Down a little lane, beautiful garden with cool pool to dip in after a day at the beach or sightseeing. Room was clean, colourful and big. Only 11 rooms so very intimate compared to the high rise hotels not far away. Staff could not have been nicer. We were given a lovely breakfast (enough to take a little for later in the day!). The night life alley is also about a 5-minute walk from the hotel, as well as a variety of restaurants. Old town is about a 10-minute nice walk away. The staff was absolutely friendly and very helpful. Corona tests were offered at the hotel. Definitely get the room with the sea view, it's worth it! Beach is right across from the hotel.
