The place is visually incredible. But it does not correspond to the reality in terms of the advertisement around it. I do want to emphasize though that on the last night Angelina which is a superior, part of the staff was absolutely correct, polite, apologized for everything and gave us free breakfast on the last morning, allowing us to check out at 12 - please give a raise to this amazing person, professional, empathetic.
Breakfast is tasty and good, although very expensive if not included in the reservation - for what they offer it should not be more than 20$ really..

Beautiful boutique hotel tucked away in a semi-industrial area of Greenpoint, but the location is second to none. 15 min walk to the bustling corner of Manhattan and Norman where there are multiple subway stops to get you wherever you want around this incredible city. Rooms were clean, staff were lovely. Nothing else to say but fantastic, particularly for the price compared to other places in New York.

Immortalised in popular music, culturally diverse Brooklyn has achieved almost legendary status. On the western end of Long Island, across the East River from Manhattan, this huge NYC borough is so densely populated that if it were a city, it would rank as the 4th largest in the US!
The borough is joined to Manhattan by 3 bridges: Williamsburg, Manhattan and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. It is also linked to Staten Island by the lengthy Verrazano Narrows Bridge. Ocean-going liners pass under here before docking at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in Red Hook. To the north-east, Brooklyn Bridge Park offers some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline, while south-east is the huge Prospect Park.
On one edge is Brooklyn Museum, the country’s 2nd largest art gallery, and just behind is the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens whose cherry trees bloom a vibrant pink. To the east are some hotels near JFK Airport, and there are more in neighbouring Queens.
At Brooklyn’s southernmost tip, Coney Island’s historic boardwalk has appeared in several films. Regeneration is underway to bring it back to its former glory, and the revamped Luna features a historic wooden rollercoaster. Also historic is the northern Greenpoint district with its elegant 19th-century houses.
Cheap Brooklyn hotels offer a good alternative to accommodation in Manhattan, so check Booking.com for the best deals.
It is well located to explore many areas by foot. Very comfortable hotel, good breakfast and really helpful staff. Having a bar/restaurant in the hotel was most useful, particularly on my first evening then I didn’t feel up to looking for somewhere to eat.
The area itself has little to offer, but it’s not far to walk to Dunbo, Brooklyn Heights. Carroll Gardens, Prospect park and Park Slope to name only a few. Around the corner in Gold Street Botte is a lively and lovely Italian restaurant.

Brooklyn is a very busy city.
Brooklyn is a very busy city. There are many options for activities and sightseeing. The traffic is very, very busy and the parking is almost impossible. If you know where you are going and what time you need to be there you must definitely factor in your commute.

Great restaurants and cocktail bars!
Great restaurants and cocktail bars! Shout out to Laser Wolf, Deux Chats, With Others and Baby Blues (breakfast). Domino Park’s a great place to walk and see across to Manhattan. Easy access to the city via subway.
The hotel itself is really modern and bright. The staff are always friendly and helpful with our questions. The location is also great, in the middle of Williamsburg with many trendy restaurants, bars and stores. It takes about 5 mins walk to the L train and then one stop to the East Village. Very easy to change to other lines to go uptown or downtown. The price is quite fair for the convenience.
Convenient to subway so easy access to Manhattan and other parts of Brooklyn. Huge bonus with free parking. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Facility was generally clean. Rooms were fine, beds comfy. Appreciated fridge and microwave! Bathroom had updated fixtures, shower was very nice! Our room had decent view of the city.
I loved everything about this hotel. Never stayed in Brooklyn before but I ended up loving it. Williamsburg is a lovely neighborhood with so many great shops and restaurants. I really loved my hotel room. It was quite large by New York standards with a large balcony and a spectacular view. The rooftop bar was also amazing.
I needed a cheap and comfortable hotel and this hit the spot! As a former New Yorker I know cheap hotels can be very hit or miss in the city, but the Liberty View was clean and comfortable and the staff were great, graciously worked with me on a specific request, and clearly showed pride in their work.
We stay at the HN 3-4 times per year for a week to 10 days when visiting our daughter in Brooklyn. The hotel is always immaculately clean and the rooms very comfortable. The staff is attentive and helpful, particularly, Nigel the manager, and the room maintenance team.
The location was a great surprise. I had never been to Bay Ridge before. It was much more relaxed and residential, filled with intriguing restaurants. The hotel was clean and convenient, neat a subway line with easy access to other parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan.
I was in Brooklyn visiting my daughter. The hotel was in close proximity to her, her work, and many restaurants. We walked everywhere or took the train. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. I will definitely stay there again.
Room and bathroom were clean, and the location was convenient for the Brooklyn port. Lots of good restaurants within 20 mins walking distance, especially Thai. Cheaper than most motels locally and cheap for an Uber to the port too ($11).
Friendly staff, renovated rooms and bathrooms, large breakfast, comfortable beds. Really value for money. We also got a room on 8th floor with nice view on Brooklyn, which was our wish made to the hotel. Subway stations close by.
Pretty big room for the price and a comfortable bathroom. The hotel is located among a lot of places I wanted to visit. Walking distance of the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge and Barclay's Center. The bed was comfortable.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's located in South Williamsburg, so it's close to Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and both bridges over to Manhattan. It's one of the better price options in the area.
Well located hotel in downtown Brooklyn. Friendly staff, and knowledgeable about local area/ how to get around which is a bonus for out-of-town visitors. Comfortable room (although small), and comfy beds.
The location was Brooklyn downtown, plenty of fast foods and restaurants, near the Jay Station for fast access to Manhattan via Metro (20 mins to Times Square).
Very good hotel for families.
Great boutique hotel right near all the action in Williamsburg. It had a very fun vibe and a cool roof top bar and restaurant, as well as friendly staff. I’d definitely stay here again!!
