Beautiful villa and the surrounding nature is amazing, very relaxing indeed. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. They have many activities to book and the restaurant's dishes were yummy. They have free shuttle to and from central ubud (around 40 minutes away from the villa). What made the stay memorable was also how the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Special thanks to Mba Yuika🙏🏻

Bali Jungle Resort, hotel in Tegalalang

Situated in Tegalalang, 3.4 km from Tegallalang Rice Terrace, Bali Jungle Resort features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace.

We booked the basic rooms and arrived to find the bathrooms were downstairs via external stairs which were more like ladders than stairs. Not great for the middle of the night toilet trips. We quickly asked for upgraded rooms and we were offered much nicer villas for not a great deal more money. Otherwise we would have found somewhere else to stay.

Campuhan Sebatu Resort, hotel in Tegalalang

Located in Tegalalang, 5.1 km from Tegallalang Rice Terrace, Campuhan Sebatu Resort provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant.

I stayed in the junior suite, which, although it doesn't come with a pool, is conveniently located near the main pool, often empty. However, the junior suite rooms are situated at the property's base, requiring climbing numerous steps to reach reception. Unfortunately, both the phone and Wi-Fi in my room were not working. Because of this, on my last day, I was upgraded to a room with a pool, which is significantly more comfortable and closer to reception, with fewer stairs to climb. Easy to get grab there, though it is a significant 45 min ride from ubud center during daytime

Amazing hotel in the middle of rice fields. Beautiful nature all around. We had some amazing walks in the rice fields. Breakfast is great in big. Property is brand new, so some things are still not operating, but I am sure you will enjoy it as we did. We were staying in one bedroom villa with a private pool. You also have big pool downstairs with rice field views. I highly recommend this resort if you like quite resort in the middle of nature.

Fresh air, rice terraces, Balinese people are very friendly and courteous. Nature, vegatation, forest.. waterfalls and temples. My husband and I stayed at Aksari Ubud Resort & Spa … this place is my personal version of paradise. Staff were very cordial… they aim to please … the resort has great amenities and awesome infinity pools. The entire place has wifi, room has smart TV with Netflix, the resort is clean and very well maintained and smells like aromatherapy (spa) with “zen” music..,

Its got some lovely attractions and sights. Its peaceful and quiet without being too remote. Spending time amongst the people here gives you a sense of what life in Bali is really like and not just what they put on for tourists.

Last time I came to Bali, I only stayed in Ubud. Tegalalang is only a short trip away, but it is so peaceful and absolutely beautiful. Waterfalls, rice paddies, jungle, friendly locals and you really can experience Bali here. I have never felt more grateful, free and alive. Make sure to rent a moped to get the most out of it!

Far away enough from the city centre to be tranquil and relaxed with plenty of local activities such as the rice terrace and swings, close proximity to temples, waterfalls and volcano without the hustle and bustle of the centre.

The hotel offered exactly what we were looking for after a week spent in a hectic Ubud. Authentic rice fields, where rice is really grown, and on the other side unforgettable view from infinity pool to the valley and the jungle. Nearby, within walking distance, is the beautiful Pura Gunung Kawi temple, and several waterfalls. Other well-known temples are a few minutes away by car. That way you can avoid the crowds of tourists, because you can visit sites early morning or late afternoon. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The environment is amazing, we arrived at night and you could hear a lot of animals and it was completely dark. Is in the middle of the rice fields and the view from the pool is very nice. From the small balcony as well. Toilet is open so even when having shower you can see the nature behind. I saw a firefly while having shower. You order breakfast the day before and they bring it to your balcony! Loved the banana pancakes! Much more quiet than ubud. Good location to reach tegallalang fields and tirta empul.

This resort exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating. The location was peaceful with beautiful views over the valley and rice fields (some people might find the location a bit remote if they're planning to go out a lot, but if you want a relaxing stay it is perfect). The pool was lovely and the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Scooters are available for rent, so you can easily visit Mount Batur or Central Ubud.

It’s a beautiful little location close to the rice terrace. Comfortable and clean. Friendly and helpful owners. I asked for a kettle for my morning coffee and got one. Instead of a tv I’d have just put a kettle and fridge in their instead and somewhere to hang your towels in the bathroom. Just a little more attention to detail and this place could be much better and probably be able to charge more. Nothing was a big issue though and was very happy with my stay.

The house is absolutely gorgeous, has an amazing Balinese style and the hospitality of the family and of Yeru was the best part of everything, since I arrived I felt their welcome. Also they give Balinese breakfast every morning, Yeru gave me my favorite fruits and a delicious coffee! I got relaxed and I practiced yoga every morning in their main area with a mat which they also gave me. I definitely will come back.

Interesting location in the middle of the small rice terrace, definitely not for lovers of luxury and complete comfort. Very kind staff. Extra bonus - every day on the table of our terrace we found thermos with hot water for tea and coffee (also can refill). Cleanliness - acceptable; breakfast - good silence level - only sounds of nature. As such - 6/10 Value for money - 10/10 Overall - 8

The staff was amazing, everything working there was super nice and accommodating Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety The location was great, the view from the room and the common area is great, with a rice terrace nearby. The place is located in small village outside of Ubud, but they offer a free shuttle service for the city three times per day, which is really useful

The rooms are so fancy and the bed is really comfortable. I loved doing the free activities during the day like the nature walk, yoga and making Canang.

We stayed at four different hotels while on Bali and while all were very nice to great, Aksari was a cut above the rest. From the location to the beautiful cliffside setting, rooms, food and most of all the incredibly hospitable staff this is truly earns the "exceptional" ranking in my book.
