Absolutely, everything about Sheildaig Farm was wonderful. Lesley, the hostess, was super friendly and very helpful. The staff were lovely too. As were the very well-behaved dogs.
Our room was very comfortable and what a treat having breakfast brought to the room in the morning. Nothing was too much trouble for Lesley.

Large modern 2 bedroom apartment with fully functional kitchen. Stocked with lots of tea/coffee/sugar and a pint of milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Owner kept in touch and answered any queries promptly via bookin.com. Location at the southern end of loch Lomond.

Helpful locals.
Clean and tidy streets.
Pubs, cafe’s and shops doing a great trade.
Many outdoor facilities to choose from.
Shopping outlet by Loch Lomond a brilliant place to visit. The wee eaterie by Pavers Shoe shop is great for food, drinks, people watching, views and a good venue for men, when the ladies go shopping 😄.
This wee toon was rammed with walkers and “Kilties” ( people assisting the walkers and doing a great job of traffic management etc. keeping pedestrians and drivers safe , throughout the whole w/e ).
Outstanding wee toon.

Beautiful scenery on the walks to Loch Lomond shores, if you can get on the boat tour then I would definitely recommend, so tranquil. The Tullie Inn is directly next to the train station and across the road is the boat trips booking office. We’ve stayed here a few times. Pleasant staff, cosy, comfortable and clean spacious rooms.

We have stayed there before. Like where it sits on the Loch.
We have stayed there before. Like where it sits on the Loch. Easy access to parking. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Food good and great variety. The only downside is there is no sitting area away from the restaurant at night. Could do with a little bar to have a quiet drink before going to bed. You can easily access anywhere else in the Balloch area.

Didn't spend a huge amount of time in Balloch bit did a Loch Cruise with Sweeneys which was very pleasant. Also took a walk through the Castle Park and saw a Red Squirrel there, park is beautiful too which also has a walled garden. Lots of places to eat in Balloch and big Coop open 7 days a week until 10pm

Apart from the House of Fraser shopping centre there was not much else. Ideal for walking an=round the area but the town itself is in need of investment as it was pretty shabby, poor example of the gateway to Loch Lomond

We liked how Hospitable the hosts were. Located in a beautiful farmhouse setting.
Its great its within a centralised location to local areas
As its a family home, as well as a B&B it has a homely feel and doesn’t feel you are in a business/Hotel/guest house- definitely felt like a special guest to their home.
- fantastic facilities within room space
(Table, fridge, microwave, cupboard space, toaster, TV, Hair dryer etc)
- the dogs were wonderful
- the hot breakfasts served at our room were delightful
Most ingratiating host ever who cooked us the best breakfast we had on our Scotland trip. Our room was plenty large, had heated bathroom floors and towel warmer, and a super comfy king bed (our first in a two-week stay). The lodge is within easy walking distance to Loch Lomond and there's a lovely walking path along side the Loch. If you want more restaurant options than are within walking distance, you'll need to head out in your car.
Beautiful farm for a nice, relaxed stay. Lesley is an excellent host. She gave us great ideas for things to do, was extremely friendly, and made us a delicious breakfast. The room was cute, excellent value for money, and was stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. The farm was very quiet, but took just a quick drive to get into town. We will certainly be back when we are in the area.
clear instructions were provided and user manual
Well equipped kitchen
Very friendly and welcoming staff
Beautiful view and lovely place
Beautiful furnishing
Homie place
I loved the storage area it is spacious(it is like a small room inside the bedroom)
Front view are large glass windows, so you’ll have to weigh the privacy versus the view
Very good heating system
Lovely clean apartment that was a step up from hotel accommodation. Great bathroom and a kitchen area that was just what we needed for an overnight stay.
Grounds were delightful both to spend time and to walk Sid...the dog!
Great views of surrounding hills including the Munro Ben Lomond....and a short walk to get fabulous views of the Loch.
breakfast was served quickly and hot the room was cosy and very clean excellent showering facilities . Had dinner on our first night and it was excellent had to compliment the chef Balloch country park at the rear of the hotel all and all a really enjoyable three day visit
the best we have been to since we‘ve arrived in Scottland and one of the best we‘ve been to ever. The hotel is beautifully designed and seated on the lake. The rooms are comfortable and very luxuriously designed.
The staff was very helpful and our stay was perfect.
we met friends who were staying at cottage nearby and did some water skiing on the loch. Was great location for duck bay and cameron house hotel. We also visited Luss by car which was only 10 mins up the road. Lovely walks and cafes for lunch.
We had dinner and breakfast at the Tullie Inn and both were superb. The hotel has a modern yet traditional feel to it, brilliantly located in the centre of Balloch. Staff were so welcoming and friendly, and it was brilliant value for money.
Very comfortable place

Excellent hotel in central location of Balloch. Rooms are spaciuos, extra benefits is 2 bathrooms in family room. Facilities are clean and modern, will be great when the hotel is finished and you can enjoy meal there as well.
Staff were very helpful from connecting two separate bookings to the service in the restaurant and dealing with a late night arrival. Hotel is well located for Balloch, the main road and also the train station into Glasgow
The hotel was fantastic and clean throughout. The setting along Loch Lomond was stunning and we had an enjoyable stay. The room was spacious as was the bathroom. One of the best value hotels I’ve ever stayed at.
Lovely comfortable hotel on a beautiful location. Very dog friendly with lovely walks. We got upgraded to a lovely loch view room which made our stay even better. Food in all areas of the hotel was great.
