Langebaan remains our home away from home. This is where we go to relax and recharge. We also say if the Lord blesses us with the riches people think we have, we are moving to Langebaan in a heartbeat. We always frequent the Club Mykonos casino and we love the main beach. We usually dine at Roxie's or Pearly's on the main beach but the options are endless. We have our own transport so I am not sure of transport options in Langebaan to get around.

Great Spar and Woolies.
Great Spar and Woolies. Our 2 favorite bars are Wunderbar and the bar at the Farmhouse Hotel that also has a pool table. Our favorite restaurants are Queens Cottage (woodburning kitchen, some of the best food we've ever eaten) and LePetit Maison (French inspired, brilliant!!)
They have their own uber service called "dial a buddy" , very clever idea and super reasonable.
The beach walks are lovely.
It's generally a peaceful town, but with loads of activities, so you'll never get bored.

Nico, our host, was fantastic—extremely accommodating and friendly. His extensive knowledge of the area was invaluable. The rooms were impeccably maintained, making them ideal for a family of four. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Perfect kitesurfing destination, we were able to kite 8 out of 14 days due to wind (February). Not many restaurants but some pretty good. Convenient near-by supermarket. Load shedding affects Langebaan as it does the rest of the country. In general the village feels safe and relaxed.

We went to Langebaan to celebrate our anniversary and booked strandloper for our anniversary dinner. The experience was amazing, the vibe was great and staff are super friendly. We had a taste of all the delicious meals Langebaan had to offer. The sunset was beautiful and therapeutic to watch in between the meal breaks. I am definitely going back.

Langebaan is an awesome place for a break away from the busy city life in Capetown. There's alot to do in and around Langebaan. Great activities for families and really safe. Their restaurants are great and beaches clean. I will recommend Langebaan to anyone for a relaxing break away. Will definitely be back. Next time I will make sure to stay in a holiday house as booked and not a building complex
We were super excited to stay in the house. But when we got there it was in an awful area. The pictures do not display the site so you know what you are getting. I have been going to langebaan for years but had never ventured this side of Friday Island to stay. I do not recommend staying here. In addition, we did not receive a follow up call from the owner to discuss why we did not check in and how they can make amends for the misrepresentation on booking.com.
The venue is quiet and safe. There was wood available on arrival as well as Towels for the pool. They cater for your animals so there is a dog food /water bowl. They provide the braai utensils, all other cutlery. The rooms are spacious with wall heater panels in each room. They have solar therefore there was no load shedding.
There is also a Hotel down the road and I had a massage at their SPA.
The Farmhouse Hotel is a great mix of modern elegance and old-world charm. It is located close to the lagoon and nature reserve. The breakfasts are delicious and the afternoon tea and scones are a treat. The views of the lagoon, especially at sunset, are breathtaking. Visit Kraalbaai in the nature reserve – it's one of the best beaches in South Africa.
Views were amazing! Tranquil space that allowed rest and relaxation
Room was spacious and clean
Breakfast was really good. Breakfast times were also extended to 11:00 which allowed one to sleep in a little
Spa on site was great.
Staff at the hotel were very friendly and professional. They responded to all questions politely
Such great hosts who make your stay so comfortable. A great place that is central to everything in Langebaan. The beach is so close, its walking distance. The unit has everything that you need for a stay. Safe for a solo traveler. Beach towels are provided if needed. Will definitely be back!
The house is very close to the Mykonos resort which is what we like. My husband sails a race from Royal Cape Yacht Club to Mykonos. Langebaan every February. We have stayed here numerous times. The house has all that you need. However, we are typically only there to sleep.
Even though it is in a more residential area, it feels quite private and secluded. The cottage was well-stocked and the bed was comfortable. The shower was great. We also enjoyed visiting the West Coast Fossil Park nearby and walking past the Shark Bay hotel in Langebaan.
The braai area was good, there was wood for us to use, we were mostly exploring Langebaan during the day and was only at home during the night. We loved the apartment and was close to all the shops and restaurants, walking distance
The accommodation and host was just perfect!! Thank you Werner and wife for everything! We didn't leave the house the whole week end, except to do our run. A week end is too short to spend time in the house and in Langebaan,
The owners are very friendly, welcoming and caring. They went an extra mile to make sure that our stay was comfortable. The place is neat cousy and clean. I would definitely recommend it if you are visiting langebaan.
All about it their customer service was exceptional. Even though I broke fridge glass their response surprised me they were so kind and assisting. Thanks looking forward for 2024 again visiting langebaan.
Fabulous location. The hotel is perfect for kite surfers - really well set-up and metres from the beach, but also very comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Langebaan is a great town.
We rented one of the self catering apartments, very nice and cosy, it was great as we were able to make our own breakfast even during load shedding as the apartment had gas stove.
It was exactly what I wanted. I treated my Sister & Brother to Club Mykonos, Langebaan, to celebrate her 70th birthday & our reunion with my Brother after 7 years.
