Rapid City is my favorite stop on our road trips. I like the local stores around the main street and the place's vibe. The local people are very friendly and helpful. Always happy to stop and stay for a night or two.

Beautiful State! Wish we had an extra day to sightsee more! Tru By Hilton was a perfect hotel loved it! Mount Rushmore & Crazy Horse is a must see!!! Sturgis must come back when they have the biker rally!! Longhorn Steakhouse manager is awesome and food was delicious make sure to go and check them out!!!

Great place to be based in when visiting South Dakota.
Great place to be based in when visiting South Dakota. All parks and reserves are 20-30 minutes drive. Will need own transport to visit Black Hills, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial and all the quaint yet fantastic towns. Rapid city has great choices of restaurant. For Asian @ Thai Thai, for local @ Telly’s. Must go Sturgis, Deadwood, Hill CityLindaAustralia - 8.0Scored 8.0
Mount Rushmore was great to see.
Mount Rushmore was great to see. Badlands were great to see. Wall Drug was fun to visit. The airport was very convenient and efficient. Nearby restaurants were good. The hotel area where we stayed (at another hotel) was convenient.

Several stores are near by and a gas station and chilis are next door. Breakfast was fair for the price but could have more options - Eggs, Sausages and Biscuits could have made it great comparing to other similar priced hotels in the area.
