Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Stayed for 2 nights and it was an excellent experience! Service was impeccable. The kaiseki in-room dinner was fantastic. Presentation was 10/10 and food was really fresh! Would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. This was an exceptional stay. While the onsen doesn't offer a direct view of mount Fuji, we could clearly see it on our drive over thanks to clear skies. When we entered the premises, the staff was attentive immediately. From taking our luggage to making sure we were set up in our room. The room was SPACIOUS, with a lounge area and bedroom with screens to close off sections. The highlight was having our own outdoor bath to enjoy during cold winter nights. Perhaps the most breathtaking aspect of our stay were the meals. We were blown away by our dinner. It was the best thing we ate during out entire trip in Japan (we were in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto prior). We enjoyed a sumptuous parade of dishes that really showed off the local ingredients. We didn't think it could get better, but breakfast the next day was equally, if not more, delicious. While expensive, we enjoyed a serene getaway with our private outdoor bath and excellent meals. Would love to return.

The host is so friendly and helpful, and he speaks good English as well, which is a plus! The ryokan was very clean, comfortable and kept us warm. We also had delicious breakfasts made by the host, all of our group enjoyed it!

Private Hotel Rei ligger i Fujikawaguchiko, 7,1 km från Kawaguchisjön, och erbjuder boende med gratis cyklar, gratis privat parkering, en trädgård och en terrass. The location is exceptional. I had the chance to see Mount Fuji directly from my room. The staff is warm and friendly, and Yoshi is an amazing host as well as an excellent cook. He even drove me to the train station on the day of my departure, although he wasn't obligated to do so, and he showed many thoughtful gestures throughout my stay. A big thank you. (As an added bonus, other guests I saw brought their dogs with them, and they were all adorable.)

Kawaguchiko Lakeside Hotel ligger bara 1 minuts promenad från Kawaguchikosjön och erbjuder boende i Fujikawaguchiko, nära Kawaguchiko Ohashi-bron. WiFi är gratis i alla utrymmen. Loved my stay here. Manager-san is extremely kind and helpful. The room was bigger than i had expected for 1 person stay. Futon cover was super thick and fluffy. Location was fantastic— just 2 min walk to the bridge with a stunning view. Across the road from Kawaguchiko Herb Museum bus stop with all the sightseeing lines. 5 min walk to Lawson. A beautiful 40 min stroll around the lake to Oishi Park. Most importantly, i am OBSESSED with the traditional style windows. ❤️

Overlooking picturesque Kawaguchi Lake in the serene Mount Fuji area, Rakuyu boasts comfortable guest rooms and natural hot spring baths. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the public area. Spacious and beautifully decorated Japanese style room with any amenities you could think of. Very quiet, comfy beds. We had a private Onsen in our room which we didn’t use as the public one was great. There was tea time in the afternoon and cocktails in the evening all free of charge. Breakfast had a variety of Asian and Western choices. The staff were very attentive and helpful. It’s a bit up the hill - however if you don’t like to walk there is a free shuttle from the train station and back.
