Viehättävällä paikalla Tokion keskustassa sijaitsevassa cyashitsu ryokan asakusassa on ilmastoidut huoneet, baari, ilmainen WiFi ja yhteinen lounge. Staff was helpful and very friendly, onsen had a great view.

Situated in Tokyo, within 1.5 km of Sensoji Temple and 2.2 km of Tokyo Skytree, Ryokan Nakadaya offers accommodation with a shared lounge. They are very hospitable and kind. They thought of us before us and shared all the details. My friend and I felt very comfortable. The only thing missing was the lack of a long mirror :)

Ito Ryokan sijaitsee hyvällä paikalla Tokion Chuon alueella 200 metrin päässä Perinteisen kiinalaisen lääketieteen muistomerkiltä (Revival Monument of Japanese Traditional Chinese Medicine), 400... I really appreciated the hospitality and the friendliness of the staff. The owner greeted us and made sure everything is as it should be. The rooms are comfortable and the ideal opportunity to stay in a classical japanese room.

Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa Hanakohro sijaitsee Tokiossa, 2,3 km:n päässä Yebisu Garden Placelta. Hotellissa on ravintola. Absolutely loved this place. The staff was incredibly kind, breakfast was great, and the beds were so comfy.

Kesäkuussa 2013 avattu Edo Sakura tarjoaa majoitusta japanilaistyylisessä machiya-kaupunkitalossa, joka sijaitsee 5 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä Iriyan metroasemalta ja 10 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä... Great staff and excellent breakfast. Also very close to metro station.

Ryokan Sansuiso sijaitsee Yamanote-linjan varrella ja vain 450 metrin päässä JR Gotandan rautatieasemalta. Varaukseeni tuli muutos, kun ystäväni tuli myös huoneeseen yöksi. Emäntä oli todella avulias ja petasi toisenkin sängyn eikä ottanut lisämaksua.

Ryokan Kamogawa Asakusa is a 2-minute walk from Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station is a 5-minute walk away. Hauska ja ystävällinen henkilökunta, riittävän kokoinen ja hieno huone neljälle, rentouttava kylpy.

Offering free bikes and quiet street view, Tokyo inn Sakura An is set in Tokyo, 200 metres from Tokyo Origami Museum and 600 metres from Chiisanagarasunohonno Museum. This was one of my favorite accomodations in Japan. Out of all the budget 5 person accomodations we booked, miraculously the one in Tokyo ended up being what I thought to be the best deal. The host was exceptionally nice, he explained everything patiently and he was very happy to see I could understand a little Japanese which made explanations easier too. There were two bikes that we could use, a paid laundry right next door, and many extra amenities. In particular, the host left a massive amount of free snakes in the fridge and freezer as well as some cup ramen which was really generous and thoughtful of him. I was a big fan of the wardrobe rooms and in fact, it was the thing that caught my attention as it was basically identical to the kind of room the character Kagura stays in one of my favorite shows Gintama. On the topic of anime, there are a lot of funny Doraemon decorations and Doraemon inspired amenities that definitely added to the charm of this very clean and nicely located inn (5-10 minute walk from the Asakusa and Ginza lines).

Nobori is situated in Ome, 42 km from Mount Takao, 43 km from Fuchu Park, and 44 km from Fuchu Art Museum. The 2-star ryokan has mountain views and is 41 km from Tamarokuto Science Center. This was a really special place, we were very well looked after. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable for our family of four. The food was absolutely delicious. It was a perfect base for hiking around Mount Mitake and there is a hot bath with an amazing view to finish off the day. We'll never forget our stay at Nobori - would definitely recommend it.
