Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesParking across the street and paying each time we left. Breakfast went to 10am, and we arrived at 9:15, but about half of the choices were gone and not being replenished.
Very nice room. Good location for concert at BJCC. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was somewhat limited but adequate. We had to park across the street, which was fine in good weather, but may not be as fun in the rain. We were able to unload at the front door which helped a lot.

The city of Birmingham isn't doing any of the nearby businesses any favors.. Apparently they see no need to improve this part of the city.. it's sad and clearly shows where the priorities of Birmingham lay.. In light of all this.. Homewood should consider relocation..

This was one of, if not the best hotel experiences we've ever had. The staff were the most welcoming, friendly people we could have asked for. Tracey, Reginald, Ramona and Kaitlyn made us feel so welcome and so at home. They were all so sincerely interested in making sure we had a pleasant stay and we were genuinely sorry to have to say goodbye to them. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels, and this was the first time I've received a phone call ahead of my stay to offer assistance and let me know how excited they are to welcome me. Reginald did just that, and my wife and I were blown away by the support and enthusiasm. The staff all paid so much attention to our dog and our one-year-old and made them feel very loved and safe. The staff social was great too, we got to hand out with them, see an incredible song and dance performance from Tracey, and were treated to complimentary food and drinks. It was a wonderful evening and one we won't forget. The location itself was fantastic, in a lovely neighbourhood with great cafes and restaurants. The hotel was spotless and our room there was our favourite of all the ones we stayed in in our 8-state road trip. It was huge, pristinely clean, and extremely comfortable. I can't recommend this place enough and want to extend my thanks once again to the staff for making it such a wonderful experience for our family.
