How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Reception check in and out in fast and they are very accommodative. Clean hotel and fast room service. Breakfast is ok but not what I expected. It's a room service breakfast set menu. I like this hotel for being tidy even though the rooms are a little small. Very near to the metro station. I also recommend this hotel to friends and tourists.

The bathroom tap was loose. The bathroom door handle was loose. The air conditioner was difficult to switch off. According to the pictures we saw on Booking.com and what we got did not match. We paid for a balcony and got one however it was facing some dirty looking buildings. Breakfast was definitely not great in any way.
The bed was great. Staff was friendly

The offer at booking.com is less than what they finalise ...and charge us. The aircondtioner may need attention ...airflow makes bad noise

As their regular guest, I didn''t like the fact that my fiance unexpectedly experienced her monthly flow while asleep. And to my shock and surprise I was charged to pay the cost for the damage. I pleaded but was to no avail so I have to pay. Am not sure I will stay in this property again.
I like their breakfast which was served in the morning.

We only received one set of towels for two people. Had to call reception to bring me extra towels. The same was in other rooms were my friends were staying. We ordered breakfast in a dinning room for eight of us, four of my friends received breakfast in their rooms instead. For breakfast for two people we had only one set of cutlery. No coffee or tea was offered for breakfast. Very loud music late at night. We asked to book as a transfer to get as back to airport for early morning flight. In the evening we were assured that two taxis were booked for 05:30 hrs, since we were eight people and no big van was available. When we came to reception in the morning after my husband start asking about the cars then they called for taxi telling us that one is arriving in 5 min and the other car will follow shortly. Four of us had to leave because we had slightly earlier flight, leaving the other four waiting for another taxi. My friends were waiting for over 10 min then they ask what happen to their transport. After giving some money to one of the personnel taxi was booked for them. When we were waiting for the taxi two drunk woman with very short dresses entered the hotel. Two guys followed them but they were stopped by security. Ladies asked security to let them in for 5 min and they were allowed to come upstairs. All of us were shocked looking at those woman being dressed like wh..s and definitely acting like ones. Very shocking for all of us.
Room was nice and big. Very close to metro station and a big supermarket.

1. The room has smell of cigarette smoke on my first arrival. 2. I never had an opportunity to stream online channels via the WiFi network 😕 3. The internet was a little bit slower inside the room. 4. The maintenance team failed to solve my issue.
