Fabulous large Japanese style room on the top floor overlooking the beach. Flasks of boiling water and iced water delivered twice a day. A very warm welcome from an English speaker ( though there were only 2 in the whole hotel) Our deal included dinner and breakfast. Exceptional evening meals of many courses,some of which we had to cook ourselves at the table. Great fun. Breakfast was a really good buffet. The Onsen was lovely.

A little bit far

Very pleasant stay in a nice room with a wonderful view.Hot springs bath tub was amazing and the dinner was very delicious made of fresh local food.The staff was friendly and ready to help.

No body wash in the bathroom, not sure if they assume people will use the public bath to shower. Location is a bit far from nearby restaurants. Restaurants close very early at winter time, so be prepared to go to convenient store to buy dinner there.

Huge accommodation for family of 4. Beds are comfortable and clean. Huge sitting area and dining area. Staff are great and helpful. Close to convenient store and can get good food from there.

Nothing much really. Just be mentally prepared that Izu probably has fewer foreign tourists, so we encountered quite a bit of issue with language and communication, but I guess this all adds to the fun experience in Japan!

The room offers the view of the suruga bay. Hotel has direct access to the beach. Their private onsen offers both indoor and outdoor area. Breakfast is buffet style and we quite like it because it allowed us to try lots of local cuisine in small quantities as we like.

Excellent and fulll breakfast buffet and superb dinner. Also, guest dining times were spaced to avoid crowds and lines. Front desk very professional, friendly and accommodating. Room had excellent ocean/beach views. Very quiet, relaxing, and peaceful.

Breakfast buffet was decent (not "bad"). It has Western and Japanese style breakfast food options, but nothing extravagant except for a mackerel that you can grill yourself. Do not expect chefs at each table making fresh food for you. However, this may also because I went when the ryokan was nearly empty on the last day of Golden Week (i.e., after a very busy week for the staff). Perhaps the breakfast buffet is more awe inspiring during busier days.

The location was great, next to the beach, and the rooms has seaside view. We went right at the end of Golden Week, so the ryokan was pretty empty—it felt like we had almost everything to ourselves. We had the Japanese-style room with a renovated bathroom, which was nice. The keiseki dinner was good, and some of the desserts at the dessert table that go with the dinner were delicious as well. The private bath was a great experience with a scenic seaside view.

I think the spring room needs to offer the towels for the customs or need to mention them to bring the towels in the room or before they enter the spring.

the hotel is very nice, very close to the sea and you can enjoy the sunset in the sea from the room's window or the beach. Sea is very beautiful and the water is very clean. The dinner and breakfast both delicious and the services are also very good. the only question is hotel is very far from the city and mishima train station, and you need to take almost 2h bus-trip to the hotel and which is only 2 buses per day.

What a great stay! The location is great and the staff were all super friendly and helpful, especially assisting with our Dinner when we arrived late. Great staff on the driveway and valet, to check in and in the restaurant. The food was also fantastic for both breakfast and Dinner. The room was very spacious and the bathroom seemed to be renovated more recently. We look forward to coming back in the future!

Very peaceful room and location. The sea view of our room was amazing as well the onsen. Parking available. We didn't try the breakfast and dinner so we cannot rank them. There are Combini and Drug Store at the corner.
