Excellent facilities, amazing location, comfy beds, luxury toiletries, excellent food although a bit pricey and beautiful lounge and bistro areas. The staff were incredible and the breakfast was top notch. We will definitely be making this an annual trip to remember our engagement.

the car park was very steep with a low car it did bump going down into the car park which is unavoidable but just to let future guests know.

This gem is situated on the coast. Ate breakfast with a gorgeous view of the sea. Breakfast was included in the price, luxury amenities throughout our stay with the option of using the swimming pool. The hotel was clean, cosy and made it the perfect stay! The staff were warm and welcoming. Will pay the extra for a sea view room and make use of the swimming pool next time. Can’t wait to book again! What a beautiful last minute decision.

The first room we were booked into was above the kitchen and accordingly smelling of it. The hotel personnel was super friendly though and offered to move us to a significantly nicer room with sea view on the other side of the hotel.

Our room for the price was a little underwhelming. I’m not sure we got their best classic room though to be fair. Didn’t spoil our trip though.

Staff exceptional. Very welcoming. Hotel very clean and tidy throughout. Beautiful building. Room although didn’t have air con, it did have a very large fan on ceiling which worked very well. Exceptionally clean. Bed very comfortable. Shower worked very well. View of the sea was ok. Outdoor swimming pool was beautiful. Very clean. Pool area also very clean. Sun loungers etc very well maintained. Sun shades were plentiful if required. Large lawn area for sun bathing or just taking in the wonderful views. Just spot on. Food and dining area included a terrace which again had stunning views of Lundy island and the sea. Could have just sat there all day long soaking it in. Food was first class. Affordable. I had the steak on the first night and my wife had duck. Both meals were delicious. Second day I had a burger and fries and my wife had beer bartered fish which again was perfect. Breakfast was also very good and to be honest after a full English with all the continental breakfast options you wouldn’t really need to eat again until the evening. Drinks were very good. Coffee was delicious. Didn’t use the steam room or indoor pool as the temperature was already over 30 degrees. Did go and have a look though and again looked brilliant. Will try these next time.

We originally booked a sun-pipe room and were very disappointed. The sun-pipe was set on closed for the bedroom however it still let in a lot of light. My wife in particular would not have been able to sleep once the daylight returned in early morning. The manager on reception was excellent and arranged for a complimentary upgrade of the room which meant better light control and an outstanding view.

The quality of the breakfast and the polite and efficient staff made the mornings a pleasure. The room was very good with views nearest bay. Excellent

Stunning location and great views. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and room was very comfortable. Great location along the South West Coast Path. Quite pricey for what it is (food and drink had London pricing) but presumably it's the view/location that you're paying for.
