Great location, but instalations need a serious upgrade and staff could be much more attentive.

The spa was not running properly, out of (gym, jacuzzi, swimming pool and sauna) only the swimming pool works, the changing rooms could be significantly improved. Importantly, staff do not look quite motivated and you end up waiting quite a bit to be served while you see them running around ignoring you.

The hotel is ok, just. The rooms are of good size and reasonably clean but the inner doors do not quite work.

Regrettably the hotel is very ran down. The jacuzzi and sauna were closed. The hotel itself hasn’t been renovated in many years. It’s just not worth £180 pounds a night.

The night porter didn't have great English so initial discussions were difficult. But we got over it. Room was run down, but clean. Curtain pole hanging off the wall. Windows single glazed so you could hear the cars in the car park next door. Mattress was well past its date. Bouncy and we both ended up in the middle of the bed. Carpets were old, and floor boards creaked. Bathroom was run down, Black mold spots. Bar had no alcohol as they didn't have a licence.

It's a hotel in an excellent position with a swimming pool.

They advertised a sauna, Jacuzzi and spa. In all honesty none of those were actually working. So I paid so much money and didn't get the facilities as advertised . Very disappointed

The hotel is extremely dated, and not the cleanest. The bar was not open for our stay and neither was the sauna. Breakfast was not great.

Great Location, 5 mins walk to the beach and seafront. Parking available at hotel. Swimming pool on site is a big plus.

The breakfast wasn't great. Full English, yoghurt, rice Krispies or croissant. The cappuccino was nice. The sauna and jacuzzi weren't working. The changing room for the leisure bit is very small and communal, the lockers ate my pound coin The draught diet coke in the bar was so bad they bought cans the next day. The page on here doesn't tell you the hotel is halfway up a very steep hill. When I ran a bath the water was slightly brown. The TV aerial was intermittent. Floorboards were creaky. The phone in the room didn't work to even ring reception. They have swimming lessons booked in the evenings so you can't get in the pool when you want. There was no info given to me when checking in about the WiFi password, if there'd be housekeeping, when the pool is open, where the pool is located There is no bit of garden or outdoor area. Parking is £12 per night. I had to be a bit forceful to close the bedroom door. The restaurant is closed apart from a small breakfast.

The room was pleasant and the beds were comfortable. The staff did their best to accommodate guests. I liked having a fan in my room. It was all clean.

Room was tired looking Also the whole hotel looked like it needed some care and attention. Breakfast wasn’t as fresh as I hoped! The food looked and tasted like it had been sat there for hours . Also no labels on the food containers so the lids were taken on & off by guests just to see what was in them!! More fresh fruit would have been nice., Parking - signs in the carpark said £8 for 24 hour (overnight) but charges at reception was £12!

Greeted with a smile Those team members we meet were all very polite and helpful Room was clean

We chose the hotel as it has sauna and jacuzzi advertised, both out of order, very dissatisfied with that. Parking charge was advertised at £8 on the carpark board, was charged at £12. And only paper cups in rooms available to make drinks into - this is expected in a hostel, not a hotel. Not a great value for money :(

Hotel is generally is pretty rundown. Lifts were not working. Spa/hot tub, sauna were not working. Bed mattress was very uncomfortable as it is so old that it’s lost shape. Drainage on my bath and sink was blocked and have to wait for the following day to get it fixed.

Room was spacious. Location is close to the beach. Staff was helpful.

That we was given 3rd floor and we had a lift that only worked up to 2nd floor and had to take the stairs to get to the 3rd floor with suitcases as the lift ok top floor didn’t work. Quite a steep hill to go down to get to the beach and town. The hot tub and sauna not working when told it was before arriving. Hard bed, the pillow each but was given another when asked. The decor is outdated and extremely creeky floors in bedroom. After staying here myself and my friend have resulted in a bad tummy bug and not sure if from hotel. When running the sink tap we noticed dirty water coming from the plug in bath. We was room 308. Curtains were far to small for window and allowed to much light. There was hairs in bath and shower gel marks from previous customers. Also milk had gone off two months ago. We had mentioned some of this to the staff and was told we would be given a better room next time but wouldn’t want to stay again.

That it was close to the beach and breakfast was ok it wasn’t a buffet like advertised. The waiter came up and asked what you would like for breakfast and it came out quite quick.

The heater in the bathroom couldn’t be turned off or down and was on making the bathroom very very hot felt like a sauna every time we went into bathroom and made our actual room hot from opening the door. The shower was missing the shower door so wasn’t isn’t having a shower as had to have a quick rushed shower due to the water leaking out of shower. Not enough pillows.

The pool, breakfast and room was nice, bed was very comfortable.
