Needs updating the bathroom was looking particularly tired.

Staff very friendly and helpful let me check in earlier than the 4pm stated. The hotel itself was clean and today so was the bedroom

I’m a medium to large chap the bathroom was rather compact and was banging elbows when using facilities! But not a big deal

Loved the value for money! This will be my go to hotel anytime I visit Torbay! As long as the price remains good value! No complaints at all really for the price!

No Wifi!! Massive downside and could stop more younger people go to the hotel. Even though it says wifi in public areas this wifi was very bad. For wifi you have to pay £7 A NIGHT but I did pay for it but other people probably would not and it is a tipping point of not going there again. Simple Issues! cobwebs in the room! The flooring is very creaky and when you are in a room beside the stairs it is very loud, especially at night.

Lovely Property and the rooms were very nice. Actually made me feel as if i was on holiday abroad with the palm trees and the nightly entertainment. The breakfast was amazing!! When asking for some more pillows the staff member at the front of the desk did get us some more pillows. Great Service.

no parking..road only, so you have to lug luggage..then when in the building endless corridors and steps/stairs. no easy assessable electric sockets..2 in the skirting boards... had to get on my knees. the kettle had to be put on the floor.. the sink was so small I couldn't put water direct in the kettle, had to pour cups of water in it. the bed was hard as was the 1 pillow. no bedside lamps so had to get in / out of bed in the dark. the TV should be scrapped,.. had no adjustments on the remote or TV apart from volume and channels. the picture was hardly visible as it was so dark err!! the room was cold. I told reception about TV...they had moved it on the table and did nothing...exactly the same. access to the room was terrible. if there was a fire, even with fire exit signs, depending where the fire was, you'd have great difficulty escaping. left me 1 tea bag for 2 nights. the decor throughout the property is abysmal..tatty, very old. I'd have to be desperate for a hotel to stay there again.

We were on the second floor and on Saturday the lift when we got back at tea time was not working !!!!!

Booked Bed Breakfast and Evening meal. Very limited choice for evening meal. On one of the nights the only choice of food available to me, meat and vegetable pie, was far to salty to eat. Choice of only 2 desserts each night both of which were cream gateaux and I am allergic to cream Room was too small. There was a TV in the room but room was so small was not able to sit anywhere comfortably to watch it. To watch it i would have to stand in the 1 ft gap between the TV and the wardrobe. Bathroom was so small the sink unit was in the bedroom. When using the toilet, had to have shower doors open as knees would have been pressed against shower door

Unfortunately we did not have hot water the first night but they fixed it by the 2nd. Very few plug sockets.

We arrived late at night and were asked for ID such as driving licence/passport. Luckily my daughter was at home and could send us a picture of passport or we would of been denied entry x
