I had a pleasant stay that met my expectations. The room was decent, breakfast was amazing, and the bed was really comfortable. The spa facilities were excellent, and I met some wonderful people. I would recommend this place for a nice weekend getaway and will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

There isn’t much to dislike, the furnishings in the room are beginning to show their age and are looking worn and tired and this lets the over all atmosphere down slightly.

The property was set in a quiet location overlooking the 18th hole of the golf course, slightly away from the amenities but this also made for peaceful relaxation

We choose the lodge because it's secluded, away from noisy city/town. The room rate which includes the use of their extensive facilities of gym, sauna, steam room and pool is a fantastic deal!

It was a shame we were not able to use the swimming pool. We were informed prior to our visit, kids are allowed in the pool only weekends, afternoons. Breakfast was very nice but not worth the price we paid in comparison to the prices in the menu. There has been no families staying in the lodge. My daughter felt a bit out of place.

Beautiful location. The park is full of rose rhododendrons this time of year. Walking distance to Bournemouth beach. We walked to Oceanarium and it took us about 20 min. The room was very clean and had everything we required. Most of the staff was welcoming and friendly. We ate an evening meal one day and the food was lovely and reasonably priced.

Whilst internally, the lodge rooms are well equipped and very clean and decorated well, the exterior of the lodge was very tidy but could do with a lick of paint. Although the bar area is used as a catch up meeting venue primarily for golfers, a little background music would have created more of an ambiance.

The staff were really friendly, polite, helpful and cheerful. The cooked breakfasts were lovely with plenty of choice. The meal prices are reasonable and the food cooked lovely and presented well. We enjoyed the complimentary use of the leisure facilities. The location is perfect for a short stroll into Bournemouth and ideal for short drive to surrounding areas.

Great, quiet, secluded location but within 10 mins walk to the town center and 15 mins to the beach and promenade. Lovely health club and great to use the facilities and join classes around working.

The mattress on the bed was a bit uncomfortable, it was two beds pushed together and you could feel the lump in the middle.

The pool and spa area was great although have to be very careful going down the stairs to it. The staff were so friendly and helpful and it felt very welcoming. The area was so quiet and peaceful.

The room décor was outdated and had an unpleasant smell went entering the room.

The bathroom had good water pressure and was relatively modern. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The pool and gym facilities were great and best of all was the staff that went above and beyond especially in the bar area.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Meyrick and would certainly use again if we are going to visit Bournemouth again in the future. The room was very clean and tidy and the location was lovely. All staff we dealt with were polite and very helpful.

An enjoyable stay, shame it didn't stop drizzling with rain.!!

Lovely room. Tea/coffee tray and biscuits. Walked into Bournemouth for breakfast. Lovely grounds and position. All staff very friendly and helpful. Will probably go again.

The room was freezing. The tiny wall heater was not sufficient. It must be freezing in the winter. However, staff werereally helpful and prompt when we asked for an additional heater and blankets (no extra bedding in the room). I was a little disappointed with the set up of the accommodation. I was expecting a hotel with onsite spa and health club facilities. The website does not make make it clear that the location is a sports/health club with a separate block with rooms. We did not use the facilities but they looked very good. There was a large car park at the opposite end of the club and limited dedicated parking outside the rooms, but this was difficult to get as people going to the health club parked there despite signs saying it was for lodge guests only. There was an unlit footpath at the back of the lodge to get into town, but this was through a wooded area and when we went out in the early evening, there was a group ouf people in the woods drinking and smoking and possibly doing other things. We were advised not to walk back to the hotel via that route. Not great security wise as there was nothing around the back of the lodge to prevent access from non guests.
