How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

All new and finished to a great standard. Spacious lounge, nice covered outdoor area and area for washing to dry. The accommodation felt safe and private. Highly recommended.

Really nice space, super shower (you won’t want to get out!) Great outside space for when the sun shines! Fully kitted out, everything you need, little Coop 15 mins walk or 2 mins in the car. Super clean and really well looked after

Not having a view as such but not far from the beach by car or shops.
Very modern beautiful decore throughout and everything you needed to stay for the week or longer. Very comfortable. Host was very welcoming and showed us around and info on appliances etc.

No kettle! (brought our own instead)
Very peaceful, comfortable and clean studio. Outside terrace was lovely place to sit out and excellent drying space for wetsuits/towels etc

Rob is a very good host & attention to detail for his guests is high - Welsh cakes for breakfast! Lovely outdoor area with bifold doors into the property & everything was comfy & upmarket.Fabulous area to stay in to visit places - I went to Tenby on the train, visited Saundersfoot & other places. Well worth a visit to the area & property. Blue Anchor pub up the road - friendly with fabulous views.

The place was super clean and comfortable. Rob the host has gone to a lot of effort to ensure that guests have everything they need for their stay. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we appreciated the Welsh treats and fresh milk waiting for us on arrival. There is also a lovely outdoor area with 2 lounges and a table and inside is a really comfy couch. We would not hesitate to stay in this place again. Not sure on the accessibility to public transport as we are travelling by car.

the studio was immaculate! couldn't fault this place at all, top of the range equipment, proper home from home. lovley garden terrace with shelter to sit under even when the weathers not the best. host was lovley took time out to show us around send explain how to use things. certainly will be returning the next time we're back down. by far the best place in the uk we have stayed so far 🫶🏼

Mobile signal is a bit patchy there, but the WiFi is excellent. It was a bit tricky for us to find, but Rob gave us some handy directions.
We had a lovely stay at Sister's Studios. It was immaculately clean throughout, and had such a nice, relaxing atmosphere. The living area was spacious, with a large comfy sofa with soft pillows and blankets. There's a nice big TV too. The kitchen is sleek and high tech, but don't worry Rob gives you an introduction to everything (and the drawer with all the instructions in). The bathroom was pristine, with a great shower. The bedroom is comfortable and cosy. There's a nice patio area which is perfect for some stargazing, and Rob said he would be adding some more patio furniture for the summer. Rob is a great host, always happy and helpful. He gave us a pint of milk, and some lovely welshcakes too. We are definitely planning on visiting again.

I'm disabled and found the steps a touch difficult but they were very shallow.
Very clean. Had every gadget for the kitchen you could want.

I left comments for Robert 1 the boiling water tap was very difficult to use as I have arthritic hands, I suggested there should also be a kettle available.
Just a little disappointed as I didn’t have the view I had hoped for but it didn’t detract from the overall enjoyment.

I was in Llanelli for work, so that was disappointing, but everything about the studio was great.
The studio is fantastic, it's clean and cosy, WiFi included, great shower (good water pressure) and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The private terrace was a nice feature, it's quite big, and partially covered, so you can sit outside even if the weathers not that great. 10/10 Would recommend!

The one and only thing I didn't like about my stay is the fact I had to leave, I honestly loved my stay at the here.
This was a beautiful place to stay in, it felt very much like a home and has been very well put together. You can see that the effort has been put in to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Rob was very helpful and is a all around a sound bloke, he checked in on us every now and then to make sure everything was going well and that we felt comfortable with our stay. But above all he always spoke to us with a smile on his face and with the greatest of respect, their was never a dull moment when speaking to him and he always had us leaving our conversations with a smile on our faces.
