Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomA bit noisy in the corridor during the night, very limited space in the room (enough for one person though), no table, tea/coffee making tray with the kettle was tricky to get out of the drawer and connect to the power.
The room and the bathroom are both clean, tea/coffee making facilites available, complimentary bottled water. Nice and unusual design.

United KingdomOn the morning of check-out, a taxi driver who appeared to work for or with the hotel loitered around and persistently harassed my partner and me to use his taxi instead of our pre-booked Uber. He deceitfully claimed that cancelling the Uber would incur no fees and that Uber would secretly charge a £5 drop-off fee. Additionally, he criticised the car we had booked with Uber. His behaviour was intrusive and unprofessional, continuing to pester us until our Uber arrived. It was especially concerning as he was seen talking to hotel staff, creating a very awkward situation.

AustraliaJust basic amenities and a small room if you have luggage.
We loved the convenience to stay here for 1 night before continuing travels the next day. Handy having a bar in the reception for having a quick beer before going to bed.

AustraliaNothing really.
Great beds, nice clean room, plus easy to get to and from T2.Had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was nice and the staff were very helpful. I used the 111 bus from Central bus station,it drops off at Nene Rd. Return to T2 from over the road using any bus signed "Heathrow" A short walk from The Pheasant pub, down New road? Great meals. I would stay again.

MalaysiaThe only thing I wanna complain about is that although the hotel doesn’t offer a room service, apparently you can order your food via phone from your hotel room. All you need to do is hit the restaurant line on the phone. I’ve done just that. I ask the receptionist if it’s okay to order food from the room in which she says it’s fine. Once the food is ready, she’s gonna call me back to tell the food is ready so I can come down to the receptionist to collect the food and make the payment. I’ve been waiting for over an hour for the call back but I’ve not received any (made my order around 9pm). I’ve tried calling but nobody answers. So I’ve gone downstairs to check on the food but apparently, the restaurant and the kitchen have gone dark and empty. I check with the staffs at the receptionists about my order but apparently, both of them serm clueless about it. I’ve been told that I might have come down too late so that’s why they’ve kept the food away. I’ve responded by telling them how would I know if the food’s ready if I haven’t received a call back. In which they’ve responded that I should have come down earlier anyway to check on the food as the restaurant’s closed at 10.30pm. Plus they also say that it’s not hotel’s responsibility to call back the customer to tell them the food is ready (when I’ve been specifically told by the redeptionist early on when I was making my order that she will give me a call once the food is readt). Then I’ve said back that then there’s no point of having a restaurant dial number on the hotel room if they can’t call back the customer if the food’s ready or not.
Love how cozy it is. It’s a budget hotel but the room is decent enough for a solo traveller on a short stay. But if comes as a couple, will seem a bit stuffy. There is also a bus stop by the side of the hotel that brings you from Heathrow Central Bus Station at Terminal 2 to the Ibis Hotel at the stop called Nene Road. Take the bus 111 and 285. Bus fare is £1.75. Mind that this hotel is not within walking distance to the airport so you have to take either a bus or a taxi. Taxi fare is roughly around £30. There is also a gas station in front of the hotel for you to grab quick snacks in case you haven’t got anything else to eat.

AustraliaI didn’t realise parking was an additional cost. This wasn’t clear when I booked and detracted to the value for money aspect
It was just an overnight airport stay. Rooms were small but clean and tidy and what I expected. The restaurant was fair and the meal ok.
