Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Comfortable stay in spacious room, before early flight out. On bus and shuttle route to airport. The village of Colnbrook was lovely to explore. Had delicious dinner at third oldest pub in UK.

AustraliaRoom service was hit & miss. A little bar fridge would have been nice but realise this is probably just a stop over hotel to heathrow.
Staff friendly and courteous. Nice quiet room; no plane noise heard at all. Well insulated. Room clean and shower nice & hot with good facilities. Breakfast 12pounds and average but staff very nice. Bus stops right outside both ways. Pub on corner which is asian food only but cold beers and wines. Meal prices are a bit expensive for size of meals.

United StatesFinding that Hopper Bus stops at midnight. Fortunately, the less frequent 703 runs all night.
Rapid communication when I booked at the last minute, allowing me to know that there were options in our getting to the hotel even though our plane from Athens was late. Was greeted efficiently and kindly when we arrived. Room was quite suitable. It really needs USB portals in lamps or other devices, as we did not bring a UK converter with us for the plugs. Getting to and from London Heathrow is a pleasure now that the hotel is on the (last) stop for Hopper. Although planes go quite low overhead, did not recognize any noise from them that would’ve kept us awake.

NicaraguaThe guy at the reception had no expressions lol and he did not explained anything just gave us 1 key which was an inconveniente because you need to keep the card key in the room to keep the lights on so if one of us wanted to go down we needed to ask him to open the elevator because the card key is needed for that as well. We were hungry but there was no rest in the hotel. The receptionist did not even help with our luggage’s. The place is fair for the price but the staff could do better you don’t need to pay tons of money in order to have a nice and helpful staff.
It was clean and super close to the airport.

Perfect location if you have an early flight. Bus leaves you right in front of the hotel. Reception was really nice as she let us in 40 earlier than checkin. It was great after a long flight.

United KingdomSo, the bus directions on the website take you to the Holiday Inn the other end of Colnbrook - which at midnight is not great. It took me ages to get an Uber back to the correct location and had to book an Uber. The Bus went almost past the front door of the hotel, but the instructions were to stay on for another 10 mins.
I was very late checkin - hotel seemed clean, room was fine, didn't really have much else to do with the place.

Location was excellent for a conference I was going to. The price was amazingly good, especially first area. Breakfast was lovely and fresh with lots of choice. For the price, this hotel massively exceeded my expectations. Staff could not do dough to help too. Very impressed.

United KingdomI can't find any honestly. I did not use the WiFi because I have my own and I did not try the breakfast since I have a rather early flight to catch. If I really have to, I guess I can mention that there were 2 ironing boards in my room which I wasn't sure why and maybe it'd be great if I can have slightly more space for the tiny pantry as water tends to overflow as the kettle boils. Nevertheless, these are minor things, it didn't affect my experience at all!
I love many things about the hotel! 1) The price & convenience - it's reasonable for a one-night stay as I had an early morning flight to catch the next day. I took Flightline 703 bus from Slough train station and it drops me directly in front of the hotel for £0.10. I took the same bus to Heathrow Terminal 5 and it's only a 15mins ride and is on time and the frequency is good. 2) The cleanliness - the toilet and bathroom are well-cleaned including the kettle! 3) The staff - when I was checking in, there was a guest who came down with her kettle and requested for a change as the kettle was not up to her standard, the staff agreed to a replacement with no question asked and the staff (a young boy of Indian race if I got it correctly) is full smile! He is so friendly and helpful! Overall, the room is comfortable and my entire experience is superb. I will make this my default hotel every time I have an early flight to catch.

United KingdomBus stop outside hotel to/ from Terminal 5 is great. There's also a shuttle bus too which is great! If not coming by car use one of these modes. A £40 cab fare for a Minutes ride to me is scandalous! But of course this is NO reflection on the hotel itself. It's good value👍
Nice & clean with pleasant, helpful staff. A good Indian restaurant is 10 minutes walk away. Would recommend. Location is about 2 miles from terminal 5 & £40.00 cab ride!!!!
