The room is very welcoming. It is clean and spacious, and the bed is comfortable. The shampoo, conditioner, and body lotions, bar fridge, and kettle are a plus. The food is superb. The location is centrally located, walkable to everything. The staff is friendly and helpful and accommodating. This hotel is probably one of the best in town!

It was very hot in the room and the a/c was not enough to cool it down after being exposed to direct sunlight for a day (as the curtains were drawn); the already very weak a/c needs to be activated every hour, and after a whole night the room was still much warmer than outside…

Super friendly and welcoming staff; I am checking in and out of this hotel multiple times within 3 weeks, and on the 3rd time there was a lovely handwritten note, a large bar of chocolates, and 2 handmade bathbombs to welcome me back! The staff were helpful and very nice as always

I was asked to announce my breakfast time the night before, which caused a little bit of stress. The breakfast staff served coffee and tea at the tables but awkwardly came to ask for my choice just when I was already serving myself from the machine.

The room was small but very comfortable and well equipped. Great bed and high-quality toiletries. Average breakfast with some highlights. Kind staff.

The house keeping service had to be ordered and it didn’t came eventually so I have to request new towels myself. Sauna opening hours is too short and not make known to guests until I asked at the reception.

I was able to check in when I arrived at about 12 noon. The breakfast was great varieties. Nice location near train and boat, comfortable room with rituals toiletries. The hotel also has rooftop sauna which I didn’t know until arrived. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful with a smile always.

there’s no desk in the room, which I found a bit inconvenient as I was travelling for work.

lovely breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable beds. rooms and bathroom are on the smaller side but have a nice feel. The hotel itself is rather big but has a calm, relaxed atmosphere and never comes across as busy or loud. Location is excellent.

Really only that the windows in rooms don't open, for smooth working of the aircon, and never entirely comfortable sleeping without an open window. Also early sauna hours for women meant we never got to it as we were always out - perhaps swop times on alternate days? None of this would stop me booking there again or recommending the hotel to others. It was a really good stay overall.

Lovely hotel, great location. Staff were friendly and super helpful, particularly excellent in advising how to reach Akeseli Gallen Kallela Museum and other special art collections outside Helsinki (Bolt and Uber), Porvoo (bus) and the Ballet at the Opera House (tram), all of which worked really easily and well and left us rested to explore. Very grateful for this. Everything else was within very short walking distance, it was all so central. Room staff equally helpful and efficient. Breakfast was excellent with many options and choice. Rooms are simple but had all we needed and are very quiet.

I could hear a bit of noise from people in the bars in the street during the night from my room but sort of expected for city centre

Excellent location close to everything. Amazingly designed rooms including toiletries, coffees, iron, professional hair dryer and most comfortable bed. Breakfast had a great selection. Staff was lovely, helped us with directions for site seeing and chatted with us. We also stored our luggage safely.

Due to the nature of the old building, room sizes and layout and vary quite a lot within the same room grade, even the furniture - for the first reservation I had a nice work desk, but checking in again the following week there was no desk but the bed was bigger and there was a nice arm chair. The first room I had had a bit of sewage problem (smell), but not the second room.

Extremely helpful staff, especially the one who went out of their way to find me a suitable room that is higher up (I.e. without street level noise from the weekend parties), and a bathroom that is large enough. Great location, hearty breakfast, very comfortable stay in general.

Great location of sauna but the times available for females to use means it’s hard to get to use it during a short stay.

Hotel is very near train station and easy walking distance to sites around the city as well as shops and restaurants. The breakfast selection was excellent with lots of great choices in everything. I was going to miss breakfast on morning of my departure for early morning flight and reception gave me nice breakfast bag and cup of coffee before I left. This was very welcome as due to queues there was no time at airport for breakfast.

Everything was 10/10. Nothing not to like!

Everything was perfect! The room was very spacious and the breakfast amazing! The hotel was downtown, next to the Cathredal, a metro and tram station, as well as supermarket and other shops.

Very close to station, trams, cathedral and main shops. Spacious room and great shower. A couch is always a bonus! breakfast was excellent-pretty much anything you'd desire and more! Ate at the restaurant for dinner and it was good, with excellent service.
