Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandRoom is cramped 6 bunk beds all crammed together. I contacted them early to say I would be arriving late due to late flight. Could I please have a bottom bunk. Yes they said. On arrival I was given a top bunk and said sorry all booked out. Really!!!! 1 toilet & shower in our cramped room to share for all 6 of us. I got up as soon as the sun rose, to have a shower. I was quiet but got complaints from one of the young ones who got back to the room after I fell asleep after midnight.. sleeping on the bottom bunk... REALLY!!!
It was warm, 6 bunk beds all females. On arrival only 2 of us in the room at the time. Nice friendly chat and introductions.

United KingdomUnfortunately the electricity to the hotel was cut off in the middle of the night before we left. This meant that we needed to pack our cases in the dark, and made using the bathroom particularly difficult. One of the internal corridors was dark, the other had an emergency light. We were not able to use the lift and had to carry our bags down the steep stairs.
Good location near main line station and local transport links. Quiet street and comfortable room. Helpful staff.

United KingdomConsidering that breakfast is not offered, it would be a nice touch to provide a mug, spoon, boiler and instant coffee in the room. I can't see that altering the business model of the hotel.
Great location, quiet. Very clean and, generally, comfortable. The hotel is quite simple and does not offer some basics such as breakfast or coffee/tea making supplies in the room. No desk either, so working in the room isn't really an option. Due to short notice and high demand, the price paid was extremely high (180 EUR/night) for what it offers. But I suppose that's the market. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple hotel ticking most key boxes.

United KingdomSince its refurbishment some years back, it naturally upped its prices, but it’s getting a little tired in places and needs some attention to detail to maintain its high standards. The pricing structure fluctuates wildly at times and there are a lot of excellent and higher rated hotels in the area whose prices they sometimes exceed. A bit of consistency is needed here.
I have been coming here on and off for over eight years now. Over this time I have seen a fairly good hotel investing in its infrastructure and becoming an excellent choice for its facilities, price and location. It’s my first choice, (pricing accepted) when searching on the Booking website. The location is excellent for the Barcelona Sans railway station. There is a large choice of local bistros and restaurants within a short walk. If you are a “doggy person,” take a short walk to the local doggy park. Ive never witnessed so many people and there doggies having so much fun.

United States of AmericaIf you are looking for an inexpensive, tidy place to stay that is close to a major train and a major bus station, you can't go too wrong with this place. As the name implies, it is a hotel principally geared toward people transiting through. As a spot for the road weary to pass a comfortable night, it certainly fits the bill.

RomaniaThe room doesn't look exactly like in the photos, definitely not as sunny and bright. There was an annoying ticking noise in the room while the hot water was turned on. If you're planning to be out visiting all day and only comeback at the hotel in the evening to rest then this booking should be ok for you.
Location is great, super close to metro stations that can get you in the city center and in the same time close to the main train station. We got in Barcelona by train so this was really convenient. The room was well equipped and cleaning was done each morning.

United KingdomA couple things really. The staff took an absolute age to check me in compared to other hotels. There was lots of typing, lots of peering at the keyboard, lots peering at my passport. It took so long they must’ve taken at least 10 minutes. I guess there’s not much they can do about it but the noise from other rooms is very noticeable, particularly due to the nature of the hotel being close to the station and used by travellers, there are lots of wake up alarms and showers going up in the morning
The hotel is ideally situated for the main railway station in Barcelona. The station is literally three minutes walk from the hotel. The room was clean and basic facilities were supplied.

United KingdomThere were a couple of small niggles. There was a bath, but this had really been turned into a shower tray with no stopper in the drain to allow you to use it as a bath. Outside, there are steel stairs which when it rained were extremely noisy. this would probably make it an ideal hotel for one night (as I did) but not for multiple nights. Hence the name “transit” I guess :-)
Superb location within a few minutes walk of the train centre. Very clean and modern rooms.

CanadaThis hotel has a great location. It is two minutes away from Barcelona Sants and an easy ten minute walk from Plaça de España and the airport bus. There are several restaurants and a grocery store in the immediate vicinity. Our room was very simple and only had a view of an 8x4 patio which opened to the skies two floors above. But it was very clean and the bed very comfortable. We weren’t planning to stay in our room except for at night so the ‘view’ was not a problem. We would stay there again.
