How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Location - too far from Russafa and historic centre - had to get bus/taxi every day of our 6 day stay.
Room size, coffee facilities, bed size, proximity to city of arts and sciences. Close to bus stands. Few bars and restaurants nearby.

Only issue was that the aircon did not seem to work in our room particularly well.
Very good location, located right next to the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. Room was always kept clean. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The second room we were moved to was adjacent to another room (separated by a locked door), so you could hear a lot of noise from the neighbouring room, as well as it being on the side with the main street it was very noisy from the outside also.
The room was spacious enough and clean, the staff was very nice and helpful (a part of our sink broke in the first room while we were out and they offered us another room to move in & were helpful with any questions we had during the stay), the location is great to visit the main attractions in Valencia within walking distance or with different bus routes nearby.

The sound insolation on the windows wasn't the best, so it got quite noisy at night. There were no cabinets in the room, rather a big one in the bathroom. We didn't try the breakfast, but the price tag of 25 or 30 euros was quite high for Valencia standards. The location was right next to the city of arts and sciences, but it was a bit far from the city center. At least not close enough to walk, but around a 15 minutes ride by bus.
Had a great stay at the hotel. Staff were friendly and the checkin was pretty smooth. We arrived earlier than the official checkin time, but could enter the room earlier which meant a lot since we had an early flight and were quite tired. The bathroom was quite big and had everything you needed. Even though we didn't use it much, there is a wonderful terrace on the 11th floor with a nice view. The price was quite good compared to the other properties of a similar standard in Valencia.

Room facilities. For 4 star hotel they didn't provided any toiletries, no bathrobe, slippers.. nothing..."for the environment". You cannot travel all the time with a lot of luggages.. They had a qr code to ask for those .. but when asked they said those are provided only for superior room (we had a regular.. the "superior" it's the exact same room). And no.. they didn't offer to sell them.. Too bad, great position but it's not a 4 star...

For a 4 star hotel, could be a coffee machine in the room.
The room was eventually quiet, with a garden view. The staff agreed to change it from the second night, because the first night there wasn't anyone available on the garden side. The street side is very noisy. Cosy, clean and comfortable.

The phone was a little old and worn. The bathroom has been repainted a few times.
The staff, breakfast, the room itself, the location of the hotel, the cleanliness of the room, the restaurant (kitchen) - everything was at a high level. I liked everything.

Very nice and pleasant staff. Big, comfortable room located on 11th floor with nice view. Terraces available for guests, as well as swimming pool. But the best about this hotel was localisation (just few metres away from Park of Science and Arts) and breakfasts - very big choice of different food.

Bedroom was a bit small - bathroom good. Lot of street noise - couldn’t sleep with window open.

Late check-in with limited options to be anticipated. For those travellers who have meetings, there are no spaces (but a corridor) where they can work while waiting for the check-in.
Hotel in the area Valencia Las Artes, few steps away from all the well renowned attractions. Spacious and pleasant room, with a good natural light and all the services that a business traveller needs. The restaurant menu offers different choices, suitable for different diets (vegan, lactose free, and light meals).
