How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

when checking in , the person didn't tell me on how to reach the reception on the phone, so when I tried to call through the phone it didn't work the room had some water dripping sound all through the night and was quiet annoying my room was on the street and lower floor so all night I was hearing noises from the street , so windows are not quiet insolated
was able to get a last minute room the room was clean it would have been nice to have a toothpaste there as when I arrived the stores were closed

Bathroom a little crowded and toilet water dripping all the time. Room visibility may be poor depending on floor and orientation. Make sure you fully specify the name of the hotel to the driver. There are several Ilunion hotels in town, and one just a block away.
Close to the conference center, commercial area with a variety of restaurants and metro station. Considering the price of housing in Valencia, this is definitely a good compromise between price and quick and inexpensive transportation to the city center. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Fast Wi-Fi. Free drinking water in the room.

- Close to the conference center, quite a good location, even when going to the city it's okay - Staff is very nice and fulfils your wishes - Nice breakfast buffet, sufficient choices - there were even Churros when I was there - Everything was clean and nice, I felt more comfortable than a lot of other hotels I had to take for business and other trips - I might come here again for leisure, instead of risking a worse hotel in the city center - After this hotel I went to two others in the city (the first of which I cancelled), which were not as good as this one, despite one of them having slightly higher ratings here on booking.com - according to work colleagues this seems to be common in Valencia, so not all ratings seem to be truly reflecting all hotels quality. Better read some of them than only go for the numbers.

Someone came into my room in the middle of the night 03:00. Have no idea if it was another guest or staff!!! Very strange and made me jump out of bed... and when I complained in the morning I didn't recurved a satisfactory answer... I know my for was shut but there isn't a latch to lock it

Very little space for clothes, there was a third bed in the room although we didn‘t need it and it took additional space.
Small but functional room and bathroom. Considering tha fact, that we were walking all day long and only stayed for the night, it was absolutely ok.

Add more options to the breakfast. They were very plain and basic
They were able to help us on whatever we needed at any time. The people in charge of cleaning the room went above and beyond organising our bathroom. It makes you feel like you have been cared for properly.

Everything was excellent, the room was like on the pictures. The staff was really nice, helped us with basic information about the town and the transportation. The metro station is opposite the hotel, the breakfast was great. We had a great time!
