WLAN was not working.

The room was very clean. I loved how it is facing an inner yard, from where you can hear birds chirping. The hotel is very quiet and located in a very nice and safe district of Berlin. Reaching the city center is easy by bus and S-Bahn for about 30 minutes. The personnel were friendly and I even managed to check-in quite early. Near Lichterfelde West there are enough options of restaurants and shops.

The bed was spartan. If you are using public transportation, you should have a fair understanding of the layout of Berlin as it's way south west.

Quite basic room furnishing, seemed like a student dorm converted to a hotel. Lack of a disabled parking space was a disappointment.

Great location and friendly staff. We travelled with our dog and were happy to find that the place was pet friendly. The breakfast was basic yet our bellies were pretty much full.

The room was on the 2nd floor without a lift, so if a big suitcase... Otherwise, a small fridge would be great.

The hotel is cca 25 mins from the center of Berlin. The location is quiet and near two bus stations going to the S-bahn station where are various shops. The breakfast includes various loaves of bread, salami, cheeses, scrambled eggs, coffee, and juice. The staff is friendly and helpful,

Good location. Our room was quite large and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Next time we travel to Berlin, we would like to stay again at this hotel.

Nothing really. It is what I expected and it was commensurate with the price tag. Like I said, if you want someting close to the city centre, this may not be for you. It is a c. 15mins walk to the S-Bahn (Lichterfelde-West), from which you can get into the city centre quite quickly though. And there's buses to get you to the S-Bahn station, if you'd rather not walk.

Main reason to book this was the location, as it is a short walk to the federal archives (Bundesarchiv) where I was doing research. If you are in Berlin for touristy things, this may be a bit remote. Room (including bathroom) were quite good; nothing fancy, but solid. There's some shops and restaurants in the larger area (within 10-20mins walking distance). This hotel is attached to a conference centre, so it's all rather functional, which served me well.

I had difficulties receiving my key due to a language barrier with the staff, though they were very accommodating in helping me.

The buffet breakfast was tasty and the dining room was bright and had a nice view. The building is very unique and in a very quiet residential area. Room was air conditioned and had blackout curtains

The shower was extremely small, a stain on one of the chairs was not very pleasant, and it´s not in the centre of Berlin, so if they had made the room charge with breakfast included, instead of having to buy the breakfast as an extra, I think it would have been a fairer price.

It´s well placed for where I needed to be in Berlin, breakfast was available until 11:00, which is nice if you want to lie in bed a bit longer, the staff were very friendly.

Unable to make a basic cup of tea or even boil water as there was no kettle or any such facilities in the room. For a fee you could get a cup of hotel water at reception. This was also highly inconvenient

We liked the fact that it was very, very quiet. The access to the building was also very easy. We arrived late, but we could enter the building easily with the instructions of the receptionist. The building, room, bathroom, everything was perfect. The hotel is in the south of Berlin so it can be a bit far away; despite of that, once you understand how to get there with S-Bahn and buses, that's not a big problem.

In the Booking.com system it was written that I booked Family room with 2 twin beds and one sofa bed, but we got not this room, and when I asked a receptionist, she said that this is problem when you book from Booking.com, so they don’t have Family room. Strange situation, I don’t know who’s this mistake.
