Bad sound isolation. I wish they can consider to put family with kids and young couples in different areas. So it won’t be unnecessary for kids to be waken up at night by the noise from young couples.

There was nothing we did not like about the property and we would stay here again.

The hotel is exceptional, clean, comfortable and ideally located for exploring Berlin for the first time. We walked to all attractions including Berlin Wall and Holocaust Memorial, however these were 45 minute to hour long walks. The hotel is located within walking distance from a train station, making access to attractions easier if you’re not a walker, as well as access to the airport ideal. The hotel is near several restaurants and supermarkets, making eating out or in convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room sizes are very large, and ours included a large balcony which was wonderful. Additionally, we could connect our phone to the TV to stream services such as Netflix.

The beds need an urgent upgrade. The first night we unpacked everything, settled in the room and when we went to bed, we had to sleep in completely broken down mattresses. Those should’ve been changed a long time ago. Unacceptable. The staff was very nice the next morning and changed our room, but of course, the work was on us. We had to pack everything up and unpack everything again. Not nice, a lot of time invested in this ordeal. Also, instant coffee? Really? A pod coffee machine should be available. The cleaning in the bathroom was iffy. It was clear that the surface were there sink was was not even touched one day.

The location was wonderful, near a train station that takes you wherever needed in Berlin. And a lot can be done walking from there too. Staff very helpful and nice.

The doors into rooms banged when closing which caused the room to shake and echo (when others came in and out of their rooms). Noise in general was often heard. The bedding wasn’t comfortable ie: pillows, however the mattress was comfortable. Breakfast was suitable however not value for money and overall costing for the hotel, was steep considering the facilities.
