The Fontenay Hamburg is a 5-star hotel situated on the shore of the Alster Lake in Hamburg, within walking distance of the famous shopping area at Jungfernstieg. The spa was fabulous. I had a wonderful massage. The lakeside restaurant was a real experience just wonderful. Our room was spacious and luxurious with a wonderful view.

Located in a former school building, the family-run Hotel Volkschule offers comfortable rooms in central Hamburg. Free WiFi internet access is available throughout the hotel. Very cool place! This hotel is in an old school-house. The breakfast was amazing--lots of delicious breads. The property has wonderful decorations, all in a school-house theme. Very walkable area.

The Atlantic Hotel in Hamburg is a great choice. Wonderful location in front of the lake but also walking distance from the central train station. Rooms are beautiful and the breakfast was amazing. What made the difference was the young staff: high customer orientation and always willing to help and find solutions to our requests. We strongly recommend this hotel for anyone who would like to have a memorable experience in Hamburg.
