The Jungle bevindt zich in Mérida, op 2,9 km van vulkaan Maderas, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de stad. We were given a very warm welcome and were well looked after by Maykel and his family . He arranged a volcano guide and we ordered packed lunches which were perfect at the top of a long hike . It was really useful that we could rent Maykal’s scooter as we had taken a taxi from the port. With large backpacks renting motos at the port would not have been fesible for us. Having independent ( not taxi) transport is, I think important to have a relaxed tour of this beautiful island . The roads are quiet and generally very low speed so biking is easy and the main way people get around. We had a wonderful , large room and big bathroom with a shower. There was a terrace where we sat peacefully in the evenings watching and listening to monkeys and enjoying the sunset. The food is all cooked to ordered. We had excellent breakfasts and we ate in 2 out of 4 evenings. They ask that you order your meal in advance so it can be freshly prepared. We were really happy with the location. Close to a lake beach, but close using the moto to the best sandy beaches- Playa Mango and San Domingo. The WiFi was excellent . We were so pleased we chose The Jungle and highly recommend it.

Finca Mystica bevindt zich in Mérida met uitzicht op het meer en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde lounge, bar, tuin, buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en terras. Fantastisch verblijf in Ometepe, wat op zich al het paradijs is. De finca ligt niet aan de hoofdweg wat de rust verzekerd . Heerlijk eten. Op een kwartiertje kun je kayaken in “kayak Kayman “ wat voor ons het absolute hoogtepunt was van de reis in Nicaragua.

Finca Ometepe ligt in Balgue in de regio Ometepe, op 13 km van vulkaan Maderas en biedt gratis WiFi, een barbecue, een tuin en gratis privéparkeren. Finca Ometepe was the highlight of our visit to Isla Ometepe! We enjoyed the warm hospitality of our hosts, Hanna and Hakan, who welcomed us to their home, shared their food, showed us around the farm and made us feel at home!. It was a very special experience for all of us, we had never experienced something similar on our travels before. We picked organic greens for salad together, participated in milking the goats, searching for eggs, processing Cacao and Cafe grown on the farm, enjoyed making our own pizza in their clay oven, and baking the most delicious brownies from their cacao (and recipe!). The farm is beautiful and relaxed, the casita has comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and spacious outdoor dining area with hammocks to relax in. Breakfasts where homemade, yummy and varied, and on top of all of these, hauler monkeys visited nearby every morning!

Wild Waves Surf-House ligt in Popoyo in de regio Rivas (regio), dicht bij Popoyo Beach. De accommodatie biedt gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. This was one of my favorite stays in Nicaragua. The location was so peaceful and quiet for sleeping but there are also several places nearby to grab a drink. The owner Gianny was so so kind and him or his lovely staff/family were there if you needed anything. The kitchen had everything you could need for cooking and was spotlessly clean. I loved that the fruit/veg truck drove by here selling things every other day. I really enjoyed the free coffee every morning and loved the atmosphere of this place, great for solo travelers and meeting other people. Beautiful garden with hammocks and it was right on the beach. Compared to other places in the area with a private room with en-suite this was really the best value for your money

Ecolodge Blue Morpho ligt op 8 km van Cardenas en op slechts 150 m van de oever van Lago Nicaragua. Het biedt een restaurant en een bar. We liked it has a great location near the CR-NIC border in front of Cocibolca Lake, easy to find. The owner's warm welcome made us feel great and at home. It is an eco-lodge, powered by the sun and wind, so A/C is not available, but the fresh air by the night almost does it.

Morgan's Rock ligt aan de baai van San Juan del Sur en heeft een kinderspeelplaats, een buitenbad en een privéstrand op 1,5 km afstand. This was the best hotel I had . Full privacy , nature, music of waves for sleeping. Super

La Bambouseraie ligt in Balgue, op minder dan 16 km van de vulkaan Maderas, en biedt een permacultuurboerderij en exotisch fruitbos. Elke accommodatie heeft een balkon met uitzicht op de tuin. Locatie was echt top! En ze hadden rozenblaadjes neergelegd voor onze 3-jaar verkering dag!

99 Surf Lodge bevindt zich op minder dan 1 km van Playa Santana en biedt een buitenzwembad en een fitnesscentrum. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een terras en gratis WiFi. We had the most wonderful stay at 99 Surflodge. The accommodation is stunning, the food is delicious and the staff is really friendly! The rooms are really comfortable, I would definitely recommend staying here!

De Totoco Eco-Project in Balgue heeft een buitenzwembad en een restaurant. In deze lodge kunt u gratis gebruikmaken van WiFi in de openbare ruimtes. geweldig uitzicht! infinity pool. het personeel was top. prachtige lodge, heel privé , buitendouche met uitzicht op de vulkaan.
